3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Yonkers, NY

Our mom lived at The Westchester Center for 9 years and called it home. Our family knew she loved it and we were so grateful for her safety and care there. Everyone was loving and compassionate and always attentive to her needs and our requests. The intimate residence is perfect for senior living and always reminded us of a lovely boutique hotel! We are so grateful for everyone there including the leadership, aids, medical staff and residents who always offered friendship, an extra hand and spmetimes a big dose of patience! My mom needs more care now and we were sorry to move her but we will always remember everyone at The Westchester Center with love. Thank you all.

I went for an interview. It was actually the first time I ever heard of this assisted living home. It's beautiful it's clean it has a family oriented feeling. Everyone had a smile and was friendly. The residents were clean. Francisa Moran is an absolute beautiful person. I was glad to have met her.

I Love The Westchester! This place is amazing and the staff are the ABSOLUTE Best. I can’t behind to describe how they’ve helped my family and I by taken in my mom and just providing her with a a safe, Clean, and secure environment. The entire staff has been beyond friendly and goes out of there way for their residents. They have definitely improved my mom’s quality of life and we will forever be thankful.

My review is solely based on a 1x tour of the premises. This was by far the most beautiful of assisted living locations that we looked at for my mother-in-law. If she was 5 to 10 years younger we would have absolutely considered placing her here. For her needs it was a little big but I was so impressed with the staff including Angela who gave us the tour. The place was a hotel prior and you can tell by the feel it was an upscale hotel. I saw activities with people involved, the dining room was beautiful, the activities were plentiful and the location was stunning. I recommend looking at this place if you're in need of an active community for a loved one although like any assisted living location you can do as much or as little as you want. I thought the grounds were beautiful to sit outside and the views from the stunning bedrooms especially those looking at the Hudson River where by far the nicest rooms we had seen. Based on what we saw, I would add this to a list when looking for a place for Mom or Dad. Again we didn't dive into everything including the nursing amenities (3rd party), etc. The clients that I saw there all seem to be very happy and very pleasant.

Found a place for a friend without Manhattan prices but accessible for visits. Friendly atmosphere, good food and nice people.
