The Residence at South Windsor Farms

I visited and researched several assisted living communities before visiting The Residence at South Windsor Farms. The residents and employees were so welcoming and KIND. I knew this was THE place for our sister to call her new home. The physical facility is always clean and inviting with exterior and interior decorating changing with the seasons - like a private home. My sister moved in with a very complicated medication regime. I can’t say enough about the nursing professionals going above and beyond to make things work for her. You rarely see this kind of dedication today. Our whole experience has been a large group of people- our new “family” who have been welcoming, kind and professional to us and our sister. Thank you all for your efforts and dedication.

I visited the community and everyone was so friendly and welcoming and has a family like atmosphere. The food choices are wonderful and more than what I have seen in many fine restaurants. Director of Marketing, Mary was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and answered all our questions and concerns.

My husband and I just want to say thank you to the residence for hosting some lovely free events open to the public. The latest one was a seafood lunch complete with lobster rolls, coleslaw, seafood chowder, shrimp cocktail, and even wine! They went above and beyond. We ate outside on table cloth covered tables, and the entire affair was tasteful and elegant. Thank you for your gracious efforts and delicious food.
