My parents have been coming here since before I was born so automatically, I’ve grown up coming to this spot. It’s one of my favorites for the food/drinks, atmosphere, and fresh in-house made bread! They have many vegan friendly options such as JustEgg, and dairy free options too. They make a mean lavender oat milk latte and the BEST almond croissant you’ll ever have. The almond croissants taste like they were imported from Paris through an overnight plane. They’re seriously off the charts. They also make some of the best rosemary sourdough bread I’ve ever had. It’s fresh and the rosemary isn’t overpowering, it’s just the right amount. All of their tarts/desserts are certainly worth trying. I stock up on a big box to bring home for Thanksgiving every year. If you’re ever visiting Orange County, this spot is close to the airport and definitely worth visiting for coffee and breakfast/brunch.

Great bakery with a fun ambiance and a variety of baked goods and more substantial options like sandwiches. I can't speak to the coffee but the matcha was high quality. The breakfast sandwich was great and the upgrade to a crossiont roll was worth it.

Great atmosphere and great products - everything from baked goods and coffee to chocolates and gifts. I personally go there sometimes to pick up a loaf of fresh baked seeded soughdough or rosemary sourdough. I love both.

Incredible, high quality food made with organic ingredients. Each dish is uniquely flavorful and beautifully plated. Love the atmosphere. Staff is so friendly and well trained - they actually take the time to give each guest attention, instead of just rushing people through the line. It’s priced a bit higher, but you really get what you pay for with the excellent quality and it’s totally worth it! Easily one of my favorite places in Orange County. The bacon and cinnamon roll are must haves!

We are visiting from Europe and have read about Eller cafe and it’s forward thinking food concept. We were a group of six and ordered a variety of items from all day brunch menu; the two eggs breakfast, avocado tartine, Benedict, French toast, savoury egg crepe, and the kids menu. Everything was top quality, farm to fork, healthy, delicious and extremely unique. We 100% recommend it. Also to add the coffee was the best I had in America.

The eggs Benedict is my favorite. I love that everything is homemade with great ingredients, this is very hard to come by in the restaurant industry! Everything I’ve had here has been great and worth every penny.

HAMADAYA BAKERY REVIEWS

This little Japanese bakery has lots of unique savory and sweet pastries and bread. We tried the Aji Tama Egg donuts, Wagyu Curry Bread Bread, Corn Mayo, Strawberry cheesecake Danish, Chocolate strawberry croissant,etc. We love it all. The staff are friendly and polite. But this bakery is a small counter in a corner inside Mitsuwa, so when there are a handful of customers around, you have to be patient and wait. The price is very affordable. But, the variety and quality is definitely worth every penny. This bakery also sells coffee as well in case you want some caffeine to wash down these delicious pastries with. Parking can be very challenging during peak hours.

I submitted a last minute inquiry on the Hamada-Ya website to order a whole strawberry shortcake, and Scott kindly gave me a call the very next morning. The ordering and pick-up process was very smooth and Scott was extremely helpful and responsive. Unfortunately the bakery wasn't able to add any personalized message but it looked beautiful with some candles! The cake was moist and the strawberries were very fresh. Hope to visit again!

Though I would not recommend the drinks cause the one I tried (strawberry milk) was too sweet for me, their desserts and sandwiches are very good! I highly recommend the matcha cornet and the kastu sando, both me and my daughter love them, just be careful not to inhale the matcha powder. Have already gone back multiple times to get their delicious treats.
