3 Best Bakeries in Denver, CO

I chose this place for breakfast specifically for the duck benedict on the on-line menu and was not disappointed. I wasn't too sure about the green chili hollandaise and the green chilies in the dish, but the heat they added was pleasant and not overbearing. The salad that came with it was very good - fresh greens and fruit that added a contrasting coolness. They have espresso based drinks, but the drip coffee is good too. The menu includes other interesting choices. Service is very good. Everyone had a smile and were helpful. The space was comfortable and does have password protected Wi-Fi for guests. There is a pastry case to one side. When I arrived on a Sunday morning, there were 10-15 people waiting to get in which is a promising sign. By the time I left the place was full.

Quick afternoon snack. Service was excellent, dining outside was lovely and the food tasty. We had the Quiche Loraine and the side salad had pickled onion and thin slices of fennel And orange slices. Total Yum! The Chile Verde and Ham n Cheese Croissant. The cappuccino was also delicious. Will surely return.

The almond croissant is to die for. The ham & cheese and plain ones are very good too. The texture of the pastry is so well made, crispy and airy and puffy. Literally a perfect croissant. Love it so much, next time I’m in Denver I’ll def be back!

I’ve eaten at Katherine’s and have never been disappointed so decided it was time to try their catering. I ordered quiche and pastries to serve at my SIL’s baby shower and Katherine’s went above and beyond in every way! They were fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. The quiche came with clear instruction on how to reheat and serve, the croissants were beautiful and delightful! I was blindly picking random dessert pastries from the case, fully expecting to drop a couple hundred and instead they offered to make me an assortment of petit fours on the spot for less than $100 as long as I had an extra 15 minutes. Fabulous service and delightful, authentic French patisserie. They are also one of the few places in Denver that still serve a proper cappuccino (IYKYK)! Thank you Katherine’s!

Got the artichoke and mozzarella frittata and the peach crepes. The frittata was very well prepared and perfectly cooked, highly recommend. The crepes were light and well made but the peaches did such wonder for the dish. The restaurant appears to be family run, which is always really nice to see and experience and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Most everything looked really tasty, but the salads looked huge.

Absolutely divine, stopped by and got some treats . The pineapple coconut tart was delicious and the chocolate eclairs were amazing, fluffy enough with perfect amount of cream and not overpowering chocolate flavor. I can’t wait to come back and try something new! I got 5 treats for about 25$ , definitely well worth it. Fast service and clean space . Go check them out!
