DEVIL'S FOOD BAKERY REVIEWS
This place had a line out the door when I went on mid-day on a Saturday. The name of the bakery suggests that the offerings are decadent in regards to sugar. I patiently waited in line about 15 minutes and ordered a frosted sugar cookie and a buckeye with a chai latte and sat at the counter to enjoy them. My only complaint was a bit too much salt in the buckeye compared to what I am used to. (Probably salted peanut butter, which some might like, but I prefer not to taste salt). But I enjoyed it all so much that it still deserves five stars. Perfect place to treat yourself to a sweet or pick something out for someone as a gift. Cash register pay station is fun.
Had the BEST PIE I’ve ever eaten from here. I ordered the blueberry + sour cream pie and was not disappointed. Everyone who tried it said it was the best pie they have ever had. I wish I could give 10 stars.
Great selection of coffees and teas and fresh pastries. Very vintage feel, I could hang out all morning at the place, munch on pastries and just people watch.

WOODEN SPOON CAFE & BAKERY REVIEWS
We try to get out outside of our neighborhood and try new bakeries, sometimes the pictures are better than what we actually get. But NOT here! The pastries were fresh and delicious, the sandwich was warm and filling, the bacon was fresh and crisp. The coffee was spot on and the customer service was amazing, even at 8am on a Saturday everyone seemed happy to be there and to take my order. Highly recommend, even if you have to take a drive to get there. I will be going back to try their lunch.
My favorite morning treats and iced coffee. Terribly easy to miss hours, but when you can catch it and it’s open - they’ve got the best baked goods, pastries, croissants, of any other place I’ve been in Denver area. Their iced coffee is also one of the best, along with the Turkish coffee place down the street if you’re in the mood for baklava or Turkish breakfast items. Both spots seem to have a really smooth and not bitter iced coffee that I love. This is a big deal for me, as I only drink black iced coffee with nothing in it, the coffee has to be good. I can’t cover it up. So Wooden Spoon, way to nail it on every count. Definitely recommend.
Staff is very friendly! No inside dining, a few tables set up out front. Had an egg and mozzarella option for breakfast. A few gluten free baked options, but did not try. Lots of baked goods for those without restrictions, I think my friend ordered everything.

KATHERINE'S FRENCH BAKERY & CAFÉ REVIEWS
Got the artichoke and mozzarella frittata and the peach crepes. The frittata was very well prepared and perfectly cooked, highly recommend. The crepes were light and well made but the peaches did such wonder for the dish. The restaurant appears to be family run, which is always really nice to see and experience and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Most everything looked really tasty, but the salads looked huge.
Stopped in after church for a cup of cappuccino and pastries. Pastries are truly authentic as you'd get in France. Great selections. Their breakfast meals look absolutely delicious so I'm sure the wife and I will be back to indulge in one of the many selections. If you go on Sundays, be prepared to wait a bit as it was extremely busy but the wait is truly worth it. The owner is VERY friendly and he runs a FANTASTIC little restaurant.
This bakery has spoiled us! We bought three cakes (Peach Melba & Black Forest, pics attached and their Pavlova) as well as several of their pastries from their display case and were pleasantly pleased each time. Excellent presentation, fantastic flavors and friendly service. Do give this bakery a try. You won’t be disappointed.
