Leonard's Bakery is renowned for its delectable desserts. The Bakery was established in 1952 by Leonard and his wife Margaret, who relocated with their eight-year-old daughter Diane. Leonard worked at Snowflake Bakery before founding his Bakery. Since then, Leonard's Bakery has become famous for its malasadas, cookies, pastries, and other sweets. They make graciously-sized dough balls and fry them until they are golden brown on the surface and soft and fluffy on the inside. Malasadas, part of the Portuguese culture, has been a specialty of the Bakery since 1953. Their malasadas have unique dough and the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Leonard's Bakery is the perfect place to purchase amazing pastries for all special occasions. Dine-in and takeout options are available.

LEONARD'S BAKERY REVIEWS
You can't miss this place if you're going to Honolulu. Leonard's is a Hawaiian institution. The primarily make malasadas, both filled and not filled. I like the basic malasadas rolled in sugar and cinnamon. The haupia filled is pretty good too. They make the malasadas to order. You may see the line out the door, but service is quick. Everything is made-to-order, so if you order a dozen, they are in the back making a bath for you. They're served warm... Really a great location. I look forward to going there every trip to Oahu.
Leonard’s did not disappoint! We were in search of malasadas- the fried Portuguese pastries with cream fillings. We were scared off in the morning with the line waiting outside. But we chanced coming back mid-afternoon for a snack after reading other reviews that spoke to the bakery’s efficiency serving up orders. The malasadas are made to order so are deliciously warm, soft and tasty. Softer than a mainland “Bismarck” donut and not as sugary sweet and heavy although they are encrusted in sugar. Definitely happy we tasted this Honolulu sweet! A true value for a piping warm donut- type delicacy!
Went here at around 6 in the morning and no line - by the time we were walking out the line was around the corner. Nothing like these on the main land - delicious and creamy. A fun addition to our trip to Hawai’i.

LILIHA BAKERY REVIEWS
Always a must when I come home. Must haves for me are their pancakes, Loco Moco, and Chantilly Cake. Not a fan of their coco puffs. The original location is our preferred spot, and we prefer the bakeshop seating because it's warm and you can witness the bakers in action! Not like dining at the counter, which gets crowded and cold!
Best breakfast I have had so far had to wait a little bit in line. There’s only a long counter to eat at. Very old school. People were very nice. Had conversations with the people that were sitting next to us. I like how you can see them cooking the food right in front of you, it was worth the wait.
This has been for years our favorite bakery. We come here for our first lunch when we get here and breakfast. Beat of the best in town. Lots of seating and a wonderful bakery.

KAMEHAMEHA BAKERY INC. REVIEWS
This bakery is fantastic. There are so many options. It's hard to just pick a few things. So I got a box and filled it up with whatever I thought was good. I was not disappointed. These baked goods were great. The taro cinnamon roll was fantastic. There are so many options you can't leave with just one thing.
My first time here at Kamehameha Bakery. The place was very clean. The prices are reasonable, and the variety/selection was amazing. The staff was so helpful in helping me pick out my pastries. This is a great bakery if you are in the town area.
Poi glazed donuts & enseymadas were so good! Pleasantly surprised by this cute humble local bakery. Their bread was soft and addictive. We went here twice during our stay. Highly recommend!
