TOP 3 LEONARD'S BAKERY REVIEWS
This place is pretty darn interesting. The area/neighborhood around certainly reminds me of central California. The Malasadas were delicious. We tried 3 different kinds (Cinnamon, Custard, Coconut). Good taste, nice amount of spices/filling too! Really liked the history behind this as well. Only regret is not being able to purchase a T-shirt as they didn't have one in my size for the style I wanted. Will easily visit this location again in the future.
Such delicious donuts! I didn’t know about this when I was having past Hawaiian trips but this time I found out this place and finally visited! They have multiple options. I ordered original and stuffed ones. Both are delicious! I recommend trying both. And if you want half stuff half original box they make that for you too! Once you order you will wait outside and can get your donuts when they call your number at the window. They have a line always but not that long and it moves quick. They are super nice too. I enjoyed their donuts while I was staying. You should try.
They smell amazing. We were lucky to come when there was no line. It was raining pretty hard so maybe that's why. Donuts are made fresh and hot to order. It was a 10 minute wait. I mixed my dozen to try everything offered. Everyone was so excited and happy. People were outside eating them licking their fingers. Pricey but worth trying at least once.

TOP 3 LILIHA BAKERY REVIEWS
At the start of my Hawaiian food tour, had to start here. Came here for the loco moco. Also impressed by the butter rolls (with unique red fruity syrup) and the coco puffs. Bar side seating with front row seats to the cooks preparing the food. You know it's good when old local ladies are the ones preparing it. Atmosphere is diner-like. The loco moco patty was charred well and smoky. Rice was a little mushy for my friend but okay for me. Very good overall. The coco puffs were delicious too and a great bow on the night. It's not in the best neighborhood, but the diner is packed at nice and feels safe inside.
Heard this was a must when in Honolulu. Stopped in and grabbed a 6 pack of coco and cream puffs. The staff was wonderful and nice. I must say... the coco puffs were my favorite by far. Absolutely delicious. The cream puffs were good as well, but the coco puffs were even better! Also, we got an onion pastry. It was so flavorful. Absolutely a must try in Honolulu, any of their locations. Can't wait to go back and try other things.
One of the best breakfast spots tucked away in Honolulu. This bakery has been around since 1950 so you know the food is well worth the travel. The staff is kind and super efficient. Cute little breakfast bar to sit at which gives it that nostalgic feel. French toast is AMAZING.

TOP 3 KAMEHAMEHA BAKERY INC. REVIEWS
One of the best and iconic bakeries in Hawaii! Home of the famous Poi Glaze Donuts, which is a must, but they ran out so I got the Strawberry Glaze for my kids instead (also delicious). They have SO many other treats to enjoy as well! My hubby loves their bread pudding which is more on the dense side, so easy to pick up and eat. I'll pretty much eat anything that they have available! Great for breakfast, celebrations or just a quick snack.
The donuts here are amazing. As good as their reputation says they are. We loved them so much after our first visit we went back the NEXT day to get more. Although we love ube, coconut, and poi... the ube, coconut cream poi, and strawberry glaze were nice but not amazing. However the butter cream, apple fritter, brownies and cream cheese filled may be the best donuts we've ever had IN OUR LIVES. Must must must go.
We had a lovely experience at this little bakery. The poi mochi donut was amazing, still warm when we got them. A lot of other stuff looked amazing and the smells were great. The people working the counter were very quick and friendly.
