3 Best Bakeries in Huntington Beach, CA

First, I come here for the food. This place has been around 20 plus years. Order a sandwich here and you will see why. Fresh delivery meats and cheeses prepared the way their grandfather made it and wrapped in butcher paper. I highly recommend the pastrami with cheese, mustard, and pickle. There's something about that combination on that Crunchyroll they put it on that makes it just melt in your mouth. I do wish they had a size between the regular and large. The regular leaves me wanting where the large is a double and more than I can finish at a setting. They have the usual chips and drinks available. The people are always friendly and seemed eager to please. The place usually has a line. There's a few tables out front but they're rarely available unless you come early before 11am or late after 1pm. If you like a good sandwich come here you won't be disappointed. The only negative I can think of is they probably haven't redecorated in quite a while but again I don't come for the atmosphere I come for the food.

First time going, the person behind the register was very knowledgeable, grabbed a nice 16 inch italian and a tiramisu. Loved that the sandwich was cut into quarters so it was easier to handle. Was so good I had a nice nap afterwards. Will be back when able. Also had a nice black cherry soda, will try the limoncello the next time.

Awesome staff and service. I like the personal atmosphere the store gives off. Sandwhiches cant be beat for their price and taste. Tuna Salad is my personal favorite. Freshness cant be faked and this store shows that clearly.

HB Corner Market is a great little neighborhood stop! My family and I have been coming here for years. The coffee is a very good gourmet quality and they have a great availability of made on site baked goods including pastries, freshly baked breads and my personal favorite the Cranish (an HB Corner Market original, it’s a combination between a Cheese Danish and a Croissant). The business is family owned and operated. There is a nice little outdoor patio to sit at with limited seating. Parking can be a little limited here at times and the business can be busy with lines in the morning however the line usually moves quickly. People regularly come here with their dogs. Though I’m not much of a wine connoisseur, they do have a good selection for a small neighborhood store.

A small and cozy coffee shop that offers one of the best breakfasts in town. I went for the pork roll served in a Croissant, and it is really good. The way they cooked the eggs just melts in your mouth, and the latte its a complete meal.
