GYU-KAKU JAPANESE BBQ REVIEWS

The meat was so delicious, but honestly I am impressed with the sides. I love getting the spicy cucumbers and shishito peppers and eating that all before the meat comes out. The half salad was a great starter to prepare your stomach for the amount of delicious meat you will consume. I mostly stuck to beef, and give a special shout out to gyutan, try it next time you go. Vegetarian options: They have a large assortment of vegetables to grill as well.

So much better than the Cerritos location. We got the all you can eat, which Cerritos won’t offer, and Huntington Beach is open for lunch. Which again, Cerritos won’t offer. My new favorite location is Huntington Beach!!!! We WILL be back. Won’t spend another dime in Cerritos!!! And lastly, the staff at Huntington Beach, much friendlier. Huge plus.

I took the family here 4 my daughter's birthday. Everything we ordered had amazing flavor - meats, rice, noodles, egg soup, shrimp. It's a small place serving up big flavors! So you better get a reservation to keep safe.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I totally would. I’ve driven by so many times and always noticed the amazing smell, so I finally decided to stop in on Labor Day when my usual spots were closed. I’m so glad I did! This place is now at the top of my list. The service was seriously next-level. Our server, Mike, went out of his way to make everything perfect, and everyone else we talked to was super friendly, welcoming and personal. They were great honestly so cool to talk and hang with. And the food—wow. It was absolutely delicious, with tons of great beers on tap too. Honestly, I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for somewhere with amazing service, mouthwatering food, and a great vibe, this is it. 20/10, I’ll definitely be back.

We had about 8 people in our party and ordered a huge catering order last minute, and the owner was so accommodating and sweet! He made sure we were very well taken care of. The food was delicious, I had avid bbq eaters in my party so we know good bbq we see/eat it!! Such a great experience and a wonderful meal.

The food was excellent in every way—the ribs melted in the mouth, the chicken was well-seasoned, and the pulled pork was perfectly prepared. A solid 10/10, absolutely worth it.

Exceptional prices and generous portions! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We especially loved the breezy outdoor patio in the back—it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy our meal. We'll definitely be back.

Awesome Food, vibes and it's CLEAN here. Best barbecue around, no joke. Make time. Plenty of parking. Came in around closing time and the brisket is moist and delicious. I say you must try it and the cornbread.

I love this place! I'm sad they are closed the 3 days I'm here haha will be back tho.
