FRED'S MEXICAN CAFE & CANTINA HUNTINGTON BEACH REVIEWS

We love this spot! Been here a few times, but after having moved to HB, we came again after July 4th. Fred's location is amazing, with great views of the beach from the upstairs patio. The food is delicious and service was very quick, especially considering how packed it was. Pricing is pretty reasonable and portions a just right. I had the Baha Fish tacos and my wife had the Calamari Strips. You gotta try the House Margarita Goblet, for sure! If you love great beach views and excellent Mexican food, Fred's is a must visit when you're in Huntington Beach.

Jordan is one of the absolute best waitresses I've seen in a while!! Her pleasant approach , her speedy service with a smile is above anything I've seen.. Great job, Jordan ! I look forward to seeing you and having delicious food and drinks soon.. Thank you for making my experience so nice.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. The water was excellent. Expensive but beautiful view of the ocean if you sit outside.

Food: YUMMY! If you like cheese and steak get the steak enchiladas. They were amazing. For tacos. Recommend the potato special one and the steak taco. They were both delicious. Chips were hot and crispy but could use more salt. Service: Server was friendly and attentive. Also gave good recommendations. Atmosphere: The extended patio was amazing!!! Such a beautiful spot to see the beach and sunset! Highly recommend.

My drink stayed full food was good . My seat was a little awkward being sat in the isle. It was a good night to celebrate a friend’s birthday.

Great happy hour. Tasty margaritas with free chips and salsa. Absolutely beautiful views of the ocean.

Cravings satisfied! I just wanted to get a taco but this restaurant exceeded my expectations. Food was spectacular! Tacos were just delicious, the sauces were nice and perfectly spicy. The margarita I had was refreshing, tasty and moderate alcohol for just the right buzz. The place was nice and amenities were clean. Staff were friendly and professional. Christian gets a 5 star from me. Very welcoming, charming and excellent product knowledge. I highly recommend this place Solita.

Tacos were affordable especially on taco tuesday. Tacos were solid — pretty good quality. Atmosphere and music were amazing. Drinks had a little too much ice. Overall, good pick for casual but cute dinner.

I was invited to a casual dinner. I had assorted tacos. They were not comparable to street tacos, but they were decent. All of the staff were friendly and professional. The margarita took a long time to be served. Overall, the location in Huntington Beach is good.
