3 Best Bakeries in Newport News, VA

Very intimate setting & friendly staff! My sister recommended this bakery & we were not disappointed. The white bean, red bean & custard pastries were fluffy, not too sweet & delicious with hot tea. We also tried the vanilla cake roll which was delicious. I will definitely be back to try other baked goods!!

Great little Korean bakery hidden in this unassuming plaza. The bread is so good. Simple ingredients. No fillers like Americans have. Try this place out for a treat. Ask the cashier what their recommendations are. You won't be disappointed!

My friend got me a few items (the croquette and another was a pastry) and it was amazing!! I need to go there in person and order myself!

We drove from Virginia Beach on a Saturday, it was my wife’s birthday and she had been wanting to try Tous les Jours. Arriving at noon, we thought for sure there would be a line or reduced stock but we were willing to take that chance since the reviews have been stellar. Much to our delight there was a line, but the case were full and the employees were constantly restocking as patrons filled their trays. Upon entering we were greeted by the owner, who promptly guided us with thoughtful suggestions based upon our taste… the pastry were delicious, the quality and love of the baking craft was outstanding. I highly recommend Tous les Jours…it’s so rare that an establishment meets expectations, what the owners and staff have created exceeds them in every way..

This bakery is my favorite thing after I get off of work in the morning. There are so many sweet and even savory treats to choose from! They are so creative in their presentation and new items. Everything is super fresh! I have tried many of their items and I am never disappointed. They also have many drinks to choose from. The place is beautiful inside and there is plenty of seating. The owner is very kind. You get more than you pay for here, you can tell everything was crafted with the best ingredients and care. I do not recommend trying whatever looks yummy because then you'd buy the whole store!

Fun, unique, and delicious baked goods! Massive spectrum to choose from. Everything light and not too rich or decadent. Garlic sausage roll perfectly savory. Cloud cake definitely lives up its fluffy moniker. Was pleasantly surprised to find coffee bun hollow, moist, and flavorful inside. Milk and blueberry cream bread both have very nice filling! Clean venue and friendly service. Decent value.
