This wonderful little bakery in "The Hill" has a delightful butter cake. Visiting Saint Louis, I decided to try this signature St. Louis desert at the Missouri Baking Co, because of the great reviews... and both the bakery and the butter cake lived up to the reputation. Delightful and delicious with a very pleasant atmosphere in a lovely part of the city.

A must stop if you're on The Hill!! You will be greeted and waited on by teens, and they are hard working and very polite! Wonderful selection of items, we went here before lunch and had to use a lot of self control to not just gobble up the pecan stollen and lemon Danish! Made this one of my favorite stops!.

Missouri Baking Company is amazing! Great array of cookies and other desserts/pastries. Service is great even when it gets busy in there. Cannoli are so good! My favorite are the gooey butter cake and butterball cookies. Must try if you are on the hill, it is a staple!.

LOVED wonderful bread and their atmosphere! Their staff was nice too. It was a nice experience to visit their bakery in the morning. Their chocolate croissant had beautiful layers. And I like that their bread was not crazy sweet. I want to go back to this nice bakery again.

Walked in and thought I was in Europe someplace plush! The sweet aroma hijacked all my senses. I love when desserts are beautiful and delicious. The richness of the ingredients can be tasted individually. The butter, the Bourbon, and the pecans. My goodness, what a treat! Definitely a place to satisfy any sweet tooth. Well worth the cavity.

This has been saved in my "places to go" tab and today I finally got to try it out! I came with several family members which was good because we were able to sample each other's items. Everything I had was delicious!! The quiche was unlike any quiche I have ever had. It was almost custard-like and absolutely yum! I dined-in but also brought items home and everything transported nicely. I will definitely be back to try more menu items!.

I am completely shocked that the delicious baked goods we ate were vegan. I would have never guessed unless I knew otherwise! The staff was welcoming and provided excellent service. Besides the delicious baked goods and friendly service, the atmosphere here is inclusive and welcoming. If you are looking for a vegan cafe definitely check this place out. We need to come back to try the savory options. It is a fantastic place to go to get an afternoon pick-me-up, in the Shaw neighborhood!.

We got the love potion cookie and the hummingbird Cupcake and they were THE BEST sweets we have ever had in our whole life!! I have traveled around the country for work and these were hands down the best baked goods I've tasted. I don't quite understand how it's vegan (I did not know when I originally tried it). I highly recommend you visit before they get too popular. Very affordable and great staff.

Lovely place, lovely atmosphere, FANTASTIC vegan fare. I will be back! I also love the names of the dishes as well as the music they played. It's a great vibe. Pictured: Audre Lorde sandwich and love spell cookie!.
