Everything we ordered was so good. The pork empanadas and smoked oysters were great starters. The beef rib had the perfect amount of smoke and so tender. Don't skip the smoked loaded baked potato or the Mexican Corn Elotes. The pork and green chile flatbread was a nice choice for something different. Our server was very polite and knowledgeable about the daily selections.

Born and raised in Fort Worth, but have spent my adult life in Austin. Came back to Fort Worth to visit family and checked out this restaurant. Fantastic food and vibes. Definitely recommend!.

First time here and we were looking for good Texas barbecue. We were not disappointed. The meat is smoked with real wood, they make their own chips as well. Very Good!.

Cooper's Old Time Pit BBQ is hands down one of the best BBQ spots I’ve ever visited. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of smoked meats sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The selection is incredible – brisket, ribs, sausage, chicken, and more, all cooked to perfection. The brisket was tender and flavorful with just the right amount of smoky goodness, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone amazing. Their famous pork chop is an absolute must-try – juicy, thick, and seasoned perfectly. The sides are just as impressive, with creamy mac and cheese, hearty beans, and fresh coleslaw complementing the meats beautifully. Don't skip the cobbler for dessert – it’s the perfect sweet ending to a savory meal. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The rustic atmosphere adds to the charm, giving you an authentic Texas BBQ vibe. If you're looking for top-tier BBQ with generous portions and great service, Cooper's is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back for more! 5 stars all the way!.

The food was absolutely delicious! It was a little confusing for a first timer how the restaurant worked at first, but it was easy enough after doing it once. Lots of seating, interesting art work and stuff on the walls. Prices are fair, servings are big, and again, food is delicious!.

Food was great and the service was very friendly. I think you have to come at the right time so the cuts aren’t dry. I like the pinto bean station. The beef rib was amazing but the spicy sausage was the best part of the meal.

This is my top BBQ spot in all of DFW. The BBQ sauce is a perfect blend of sweet and spice. The pork ribs and sliced brisket are the best that I’ve personally had. Large side of fries is enormous. Beer is always frosty cold. Kid-friendliness: Kids always have fun on the patio. Lots of easy food options for kids.

I liked the atmosphere and the restaurant was very busy for lunch time. The lunch special was nice my friend loved the chicken and I got a brisket sandwich plate meal. Prices were decent for barbecue and the brisket sandwich was solid Sides, potato salad and baked beans were very mediocre to me.

Ribs are fantastic, dry and full of flavor. The menu and restaurant is basic, you come here for the BBQ which is top rated, one of the top two in Fort Worth. Good selection of beer on tap.
