BLUES CITY CAFE REVIEWS
Ribs and catfish. Let’s go. So good. We had to check this place out. It’s a great cafe and if we ever get back here we will eat here again. Shrimp and fries on deck as well. Great service. Everyone was super friendly and we even bought some seasoning for the road.
What a great experience. We got the best meal on Beale and it was a very big portion. The ribs fall off the bone, the catfish is perfect, and the stew with steak chunks is great. Erica our waitress was great. The food came out very fast. Awesome spot.
My colleague and I shared the rib and catfish combo and it was delicious. Plenty of food and great service. I highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Memphis bbq.

CHARLIE VERGOS' RENDEZVOUS REVIEWS
This is THE place for Memphis BBQ. I had the combo plate with ribs and brisket and my colleague had the ribs and pork shoulder (pulled pork). The ribs were simply delicious and the brisket was nice and tender. All plate combos come with beans amd slaw. The beans were ok at best but the slaw was a surprise. It is a vinegar and mustard based slaw (I think). But....the ribs are really where it's at.
I thought i knew BBQ, and I live in St.Louis. Little to my surprise we found the best barbecue here in a secret alleyway. The Ribs were the most tender and well seasoned I have ever eaten. This place is heaven. It's also been here since 1948 if that says anything. Cory was an amazing server and quite funny. My mom was in love with this man. Amazing. We will be back for more ribs, rub, and amazing sauce. I am sad I didn't have another rack.
I have NO idea why the bad reviews. Service was great, food came really fast, reasonable prices, the location is super cool. Best of all, the food was great. Ribs where cooked perfectly, brisket was spot on, and the baked beans were perfect. Go here.
