“Coletta's Italian Restaurant is a family-friendly eatery also serving BBQ pizza & Italian staples in a relaxed setting. Emil Coletta founded the original Coletta's, located on South Parkway. They provide homemade ice cream, sandwiches, and pasta. They introduced pizza with a Southern twist, topping it with BBQ Memphis classic to encourage hesitant customers to try something new. This pizza quickly became a best-seller and one of Elvis Presley's favorite dishes. To this day, the BBQ pizza remains one of their signature items. The restaurant also offers private rooms that can hold up to 50 people.
