Folk’s Folly Prime Steakhouse is started in 1977 with unusual beginnings, as is always the experience for the best stories. Diane Kauker is the General Manager of the restaurant. His peers gave little support, so he introduced the word folly to his name and established Memphis's original Prime Steak House. They offer their guests the option of 7 separate dining rooms and 12 private dining rooms, accommodating 2-80 guests. The Cellar Lounge is the only intimate piano lounge in the city, offering live music from Monday to Saturday. The Prime Cut Shoppe launched in 1989 in response to the patron's application for take-home dining and mail-order gift packages. The Restaurant also provides a dress code.
