LONGHORN BARBECUE REVIEWS

Good home town place. Service was very friendly and helped this first timer out. Talked to her about what I was looking for, and she came thru. Brisket was cooked just right. Tender, not falling apart :-) The fat still had flavor and melted in mouth like it should. Got to sample 3 different sauces and was showen a little extra love from the cook. Thank you, sir. Potato salad was nice little heavy on the mustard for me. Good all around. I will be back for more soon enough.

A fantastic Spokane classic! This bbq joint features homey traditional western decor that makes you feel like you just tied your horse up outside after a long days ride, ready to fill your gullet with some wholesome comfort food by an oil lit lantern table. I got a large portions of tender pulled pork, loaded baked potato that’s filled to the top with your standard fixins’ (I loved that there was big chunks of bacon and herbed butter on it). Zesty & regular bbq sauces to dip the slow smoked ribs, and probably one of the best cornbread muffins I’ve tasted in a long while. Will 100% be back.

This was my first time at this restaurant and my first time in the city. I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. We were served by Kathan (I’m probably spelling the name wrong, sorry haha). Great food, excellent service! I hope to come back to this restaurant many more times.

My husband and I had dinner at Out Law tonight. It’s one of our favorites. We sat in the bar at a booth. It wasn’t too busy but looked like quite a few to go orders. Our food was quite delayed but we were updated by our waitress Jill who was keeping close tabs on how many orders were before us. Jill had the Best hospitality that you just don’t see anymore unfortunately. I will be back not only because the food is always delicious, but just to have Jill as our waitress again. I highly recommend going in and sitting in the bar in hope Jill will be working. You will be so very impressed.

Best BBQ I've had since leaving Texas. The did was great. I had their four meat platters with two sides. It was enough for two people probably! The server was awesome. The sauce choices were all good. Just a do not miss kind of place.

The corn jalapeño pasta salad is delicious. Had the chopped brisket, pulled pork, southern mac n cheese, smoked turkey potato, and Texas chili. Everything was amazing. Will definitely come back again when visiting Spokane.

CHICKEN-N-MORE REVIEWS

The rumors are true. Not gonna lie, though the reviews at first had to be bluffing about some of the best southern food being in Spokane but I am a believer now. Came in town for work and will be back before I go. Excellent ribs, red beans and rice, really good greens (which I think is hard to find in a restaurant) and the chicken was crispy and nice. I’m walking for the street smiling and licking my lips lol plus they’re really friendly too!

Oh. My. Stars. This place is the real deal! I had the brisket sandwich and my husband had the chicken and rib combo with two sides, collard greens and macaroni salad. The meats are smoked to perfection and the sauce has a slight bit of heat. If you like collards greens they are not to be missed here! Three generations work here and the owner Bob is regionally famous. So authentic.

Amazing southern food! The fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and hush puppies were amazing! Freshly made food and hole in the wall cozy atmosphere. Super friendly and kind service as well. One guy was working there alone but went above in beyond with customer service, communication, taking orders AND cooking! We will definitely be back.
