I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday lunch at Smokin’ Oak BBQ in downtown Vancouver, and it was an amazing experience! I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad and beans, and everything was packed with flavor. The brisket was perfectly tender and smoky, the potato salad was creamy and well-balanced, but the real standout for me was the beans—just the right amount of spice to give them a kick without overpowering the dish. I did try a bite of another’s cornbread I’d say that could use some more work as it is dry to my liking. The atmosphere was great, and the service was friendly and efficient. If you’re a BBQ lover, this place is a must-try!

Excellent BBQ! Our first bite into our brisket slider with carmalized onions was so delicious! Then the brisket Mac & Cheese! Wow, to die for. Three of us shared the Mac & Cheese, it’s super rich and so amazing.

What a cute place! I loved the Mac and cheese and ribs! Our waitress was great! Made suggestions and didn’t make us wait long! Will definitely be back!!! A delight for my taste buds.

DADDY D'S SOUTHERN STYLE BBQ REVIEWS

I stopped by for the first time and it was definitely worth the trip. It's in the back of a Shell station and has a counter and tables to some in if you'd like. I got the ribs plate with baked beans and coleslaw. The ribs were so meaty and cooked perfectly and the baked beans were some of the best I've ever had. The service was also great and friendly. I'll definitely be back again.

If anyone can find better BBQ in Vancouver let me know. Their BBQ is unmatched. Don’t look for all the bells and whistles when it comes to the location. Hands down the best BBQ!

Always delicious never disappointed. Best brisket in town and that's the truth... brisket and ribs combo can't go wrong.

Went with my wife and son. We each had the two meats and two sides plates. My son and I both had brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, mac n cheese, and a cornbread roll. My wife had brisket, ribs, apple cider sweet potatoes, baked beans, and a cornbread roll. We add two extra sides to try, the horseradish coleslaw and the fries. For dessert, we all tried the banana pudding, the peach cobbler, and the Mexican hot chocolate pudding. The food was very good. The sweet tea is on point, good and sweet compared to most places around here. Everything is made in-house. The horseradish coleslaw is outstanding. The Mexican hot chocolate pudding was on the spicy side, and my son couldn't eat it. I am used to true Texas BBQ, and this is Vancouvers slice of Texas.

There’s firewood in the seating area, the smell of southern BBQ greets you as you enter, the lovely staff gives you a “cheers” friend-family vibe, and chef, chef has proper kitchen knife ink on his forearm. To top off the ambiance the food was terrific. I give this spot high remarks. It’s quaint but mighty. Try the campfire beans and horseradish coleslaw.

Creekside BBQ is a hidden gem! The smoky flavor of their meats is absolutely incredible, and every bite is packed with rich, slow-cooked goodness. The friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. If you're looking for a true barbecue experience, this is the place to be!"
