3 Best Indian Restaurants in Vancouver, WA

Oh my goodness, I have never had Indian food but my God the lamb curry was perfect. I'm not sure what the bread and dessert was called but I LOVED it!! good customer service, good pricing, good food and it felt welcoming inside such a good place.

While we love Indian food, Indian food doesn’t always love us back. After trying just about every Indian restaurant in town—with lots of spicy regrets—we finally found this gem. My husband always orders me the extra, extra mild shrimp biryani, and at most places, it still ends up too spicy. But not here! This restaurant actually listens and cares about their customers’ needs. Every single time, they make sure my mild order is truly mild—and that means I can finally enjoy Indian food again without worry. The food is absolutely delicious, and more than anything, it’s their customer service that keeps us coming back. Thoughtful, consistent, and kind—they go above and beyond. Highly recommend if you’re looking for flavorful Indian cuisine with amazing service and attention to detail.

Consistency is important and this place nails it. The curries are unique, definitely not your run of the mill Indian spot but they have the crowd favorites as well. All of the curries are phenomenal. Try the mango tikka masala! Server recommended it and it was very good. I get the vindaloo HOT and they deliver. They use chicken thighs, not breast which are way better. Naan and onion bhaji were amazing as well. All sauces and curries were fresh and delicious and use quality ingredients. Just a small little place with 7 tables so don’t come in expecting crazy fast service. Go for the incredible Indian food and friendly service. Will be back. Favorite Indian restaurant in Vancouver. Dare I say Portland as well.

Absolutely fantastic Indian food, with a wide selection of dishes and plenty of vegetarian options. I order take-out from this place at least once per month. I’m a huge fan of their chicken vindaloo, which I usually order with naan, raita and mint chutney. Channa Masala and veggie samosas are great too. I always ask them for *very spicy* and they typically serve it somewhat milder than my preference, probably assuming that I can’t handle the heat because I’m Caucasian, lol. The location itself was obviously a Mexican restaurant before they moved in, the entire building seems to have been purpose built as a Mexican place so the atmosphere almost comically mis-matches the cuisine here, but look past that - the food makes it worth it! The service is friendly too, one of the servers told me that the name of the restaurant loosely translates to “love” - which I thought was nice. Food made with love always tastes better!.

LOVED this place!!! We had not eaten Indian food in three years that we moved from San Francisco to here. So glad someone recommended us because it was soooo delicious! Will definitely come again! Our favorites were the veggie Samosa, Butter chicken and mango lassi.

This place has been all the rave on the Dining the Couve FB group I’m in and it did NOT disappoint. Every dish we had was absolutely fantastic. From the family size basket of assorted Naan (the Garlic Naan is a MUST), to the Tandoori Shrimp, Veggie and Lamb Samosas… all amazing. Then. there were the curries! If you love great Indian Curry, the four of us can vouch for the three we tried. We had Dal Makhani, Nilgiri Chicken, and my favorite, Palak Paneer… all of them just outstanding. We will be returning any chance we get.
