Specialty:
“Del Ray Café provides French-style food made with fresh ingredients. They have a friendly, welcoming place where the staff gives great service. They offer local, natural, and organic food with tasty French country dishes. Laurent Janowsky who owns Del Ray Café with his wife Margaret has happy childhood memories of growing up in the Alsace region in eastern France. Del Ray Café has carefully fixed up a 1925 Del Ray house to make a restaurant that feels like a “home away from home.” This looks like an old Virginia farmhouse where you can come in casual clothes and relax. You can rent a room or the whole restaurant for private events. Their barn room fits up to 20 people and has a TV for presentations. Kids like their Egg with Mini Croissant, Buttermilk Pancakes, Duck Leg Confit with Orzo, Fish of the Day with Vegetables, and Homemade Tagliarini Pasta with Butter and Cheese. Gift cards are available for your loved ones. They take reservations for all party sizes anytime except weekend and holiday brunch, which only takes reservations for groups of 5 or more. The café is wheelchair accessible and has free Wi-Fi. They offer vegetarian choices, takeout, and delivery.”
