3 Best Steak Houses in Alexandria, VA

I went with my family and received the greatest customer service. Lynden was our server, and he was amazing. He took care of us like we were family. His smile and attitude shows that he is very experienced. We were surprised to find out that he was not in a management position. When you go to this restaurant, please request him. You will not be disappointed.

Food was amazing and customer service was beyond terrific. The manager, Nicole had came to our table and greeted my mother and I very kindly. I had brainstormed to her that serving milkshakes would be a cool addition to the menu and she didn’t even hesitate to offer me a very good chocolate milkshake! Personally the best service I’ve ever received.

Excellent food and service, shout out to Juan for taking care of us, polite and caring and made us feel welcome! Always love coming to this Restaurant for the 5 star treatment for a good drink and steak! And sometimes even dessert.

Oak spoiled Alexandria Restaurant Week for me. Seriously, they are so excellent that no other place I visited that week came close to impressing me as much. Our server, Alexandria, was perfect. Appreciated that the manager took the time to check on us and see how eveything was, I always see that as a sign that a restaurant really cares about their customers & is well run. The food is incredible and the decor is perfect. Oak is refined, upscale yet approachable & welcoming. It really just strikes all the right notes. I will be back soon.

Very friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. I had the ribeye steak and it was scrumptious. House bread is really good as well, but I feel bread should be included in a meal. Charge a few dollars extra for my steak and let me think I received free bread.

Oak Steakhouse was phenomenal and I highly recommend it for any occasion! Our waitress Gisela was so kind, attentive, and helped make our anniversary feel super special. The food was delicious and well worth the price and the atmosphere was ideal for our romantic night out.

Great food! They specialize in beef and bison, so probably not your place if you don’t want red meat. Our service was prompt, and we enjoyed the burgers that we got. There was plenty of seating when we came on a Friday night without a reservation. Parking right next to the restaurant is limited, so you may need to walk a bit.

Bison burgers were fresh and delicious! The homemade chips weren't soggy. The macaroni and cheese was awesome! As a matter of fact, everything was great! The fresh squeezed lemonade was very tasty. Nice and hospitable staff, clean restaurant with awesome atmosphere, great prices, and amazing food! What more could you ask for? One of my better food experiences in and around DC.

Wonderful place to enjoy dinner. We come every time we are in the DC area. Portion sizes are perfect. Kids loved the Bison Nachos. Salads, Meatloaf, Chicken and all the sides (carrots, broccoli, baked potato and fries) were perfectly cooked and delicious! Service is ALWAYS impeccable and lastly they have freshly brewed sweet tea! Perfect drink for a southerner.
