3 Best Cafe in Chula Vista, CA

If you are looking for a big omelette breakfast here is the place, they have a great taste and well served dishes for 14.99 includes pancakes and hash brown/fruit. Also they have coffee refill free, the restaurant have this old fashion 60s-70s restaurant, they speak Spanish for our Latino community and have a fast and good waiters, the bathrooms are some what tiny but at least no graffiti and also clean. I recommend this place for the omelette/pancakes, I’m pending on trying more on the menu.

OK, I didn't even know hash browns could taste that GOOD! Some Harry Potter magic right there. The waffle was also very good, actually everything was hot and super delicious. The decaf coffee was hot and strong, unlike most places where they forget about us caffeine - free people. The place is clearly a favorite of many, plan for some wait time if partaking over the weekend. The wait time was minimal for a party of two and well worth it. Everyone was so polite and respectful, no irritable persons here ;from patron to staff, great experience.

The food was great, the service was great and the atmosphere was great. There was a line to dine inside so we opted to eat outside. We were in and out in 40 minutes. Prices are very reasonable for the portion and quality. The only con is the parking situation.

UPDATE: The owner was kind enough to write me back which is a positive right off the bat. I came in and the atmosphere was lively. Staff is super nice, great customer service as always. When I ask for recommendations for coffee they ask me questions to know what level of sweetness and go from there which is refreshing. I ordered the Agave Chicken, the chicken was tender and seasoned to perfection, the chipotle aioli is a nice touch to the sandwich amping up the flavor. It comes with a side of pasta which is always good with bell peppers, celery and red onions which gives the pasta salad some depth. The management went above and beyond to make it up to a loyal customer. Agave has been one of my favorite spots throughout the years. Here's to many more. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my total was 23 for a sandwich and coffee which usually I don't mind. The sandwich was something I could have made at home. I ordered a turkey sandwich usually this sandwich comes with real cuts of turkey not cold slices of lunch meat. The coffee was pretty good though and the workers are really nice. Hopefully the food quality goes back to what it was.

I enjoyed my breakfast at Café Agave! The meal was delicious. The atmosphere was delightful and the service was wonderful. One of the best chai teas I’ve had at a sitdown restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be returning.

Service is outstanding. Good is tasty and large portions. Music is great, and the ambiance is quaint.
