I returned to the pizzeria for a second visit, and it did not disappoint! The person who assisted me at the register was named Tim. He was a true gentleman and very respectful. I mentioned that during my last visit, the mushroom pizza had only one topping and the mushrooms were sparsely spread. This time, I requested extra mushrooms, and Tim took note of my preference. When my pizza arrived, it was loaded with mushrooms, just the way I wanted! It tasted fantastic.****** I ordered takeout from this pizzeria for the first time. The place had a charming vintage vibe. I asked for one topping—mushrooms—and my order was ready pretty quickly. I’m very picky when it comes to red sauce, but this one did not disappoint. It tasted freshly made with ripe tomatoes and was perfectly seasoned. I was expecting a more generous amount of mushrooms, especially since it was the only topping I requested, but they were scattered a bit sparsely. The crust was super thin, just how I like it, but a bit too soft, which made it hard to pick up a slice and take a proper bite. Overall, I really enjoyed the pizza and will definitely return to try another mushroom pizza—this time with extra mushrooms. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

An SD institution in every sense. My family's been eating here regularly for 4 generations starting w/ my grandparents, then on to my mom and uncles, followed by my brother and I, and now through to my teenage son. THE single best Italian place I've ever found. And that's after extended stays in 22 diffrent states. Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service, and fair prices. Hundreds of visits over +30 years and not even ONE bad experience. If that isn't 5 stars then what is?

I always have a great time at La Bella Pizza. Great for large parties (reservation recommended). Their wings are amazing. Get them dry and sauces on the side. Pizzas and antipasto salads do not disappoint either.

FILIPPI'S PIZZA GROTTO REVIEWS

This is a favorite restaurant of ours. It’s conveniently located in Chula Vista and the food and service is amazing. I enjoy the pizza most of all, but they have much more. Salads, specialty sandwiches, lasagna and more. My wife and I had lunch here today, our first lunch date of the new year. We look forward to coming here soon and I’m sure you will enjoy it too.

Lately my 80 year old Italian mother and I have been going to Filippi's in Chula Vista for lunch. Isaac has been our server. He's great, thanks to him making our outing so enjoyable we will continue going there whenever we craving some Italian food. I appreciate how attentive he is with my elderly mom and his patience as well. Next time you are dining at the Broadway location and Isaac is waiting on you, you'll see why we think he is the best.

I have been here three times and out of all the filippi's I have been to the pizza here is 5 out of 5. Yes, sometimes the waiter takes time to come over and it's hard to flag them down, but it's really good overall. Rate 5/5.

CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN REVIEWS

I love their barbecue cauliflower wings, they are a bit spicy so just know they have a kick and some kids may not like that. I literally orders just a tomato soup, it came in a fancy HUGE bowl/plate, but I was a bit disappointed on the amount that was served, the plate was bigger than the amount of soup. The spaghetti on the other hand for kids was plentiful, and i was able to share some with him. Either way i love their pasta, just add more soup please.

I have dined at California Pizza Kitchen many times. Their bread and oil appetizer is yummy. It is warm inside and crusty outside. Their pepperoni pizza is delicious. I ate a sundae which is sweet and tasty. I highly suggest this restaurant to anyone in the area. It's a must-visit restaurant in Otay Ranch Town Center for a dining experience.

Wonderful place for a quick bite. Their fresh baked bread is perfectly crispy on the outside, and the warm inside springs back when you press your finger into it. The bread alone is reason enough to return.
