They are a new place which was hard to find. Never expected it to be in a hotel lobby. Need more signs. Had everything I needed for Easter. Will definitely be back.

Ordered a cake from here and they nailed it!!! Came out awesome and everyone at my event loved it, including the employees and other patrons! Chef even came out to take a video of it! Almond cake with raspberry puree, tasted like an Italian rainbow cookie cake!!! I bought the plastic toppers from Amazon and they decorated it all! Largest size round cake and paid $58! Pricey but worth it.

I called the bakery ahead of time because we were coming from Rochester and I wanted to make sure they had placzek available. Because of the time that I called, they weren’t able to answer the phone because it was peak business hours. I decided not to leave a message figuring nobody would call back because of how busy they were. Well…….. I was WRONG. They saw they had a missed call and within 10 minutes I received a call back from them!!!! Who does that these days. Especially seeing I didn’t even leave a message. I was blown away!!! I spoke to Ryan on the phone and she answered all of my questions. We arrived at the store about an hour and a half later and Ryan and Maddie both took care of me and my husband while we were there. They were amazing and I made sure they knew the way they were treating customers was outstanding. I have come to the bakery for years as Buffalo is like my second home. Ryan and Maddie,…YOU are the reason people keep coming back. Keep up the great work and thank you so much for your hospitality while we were there. Happy Easter to you all.

FAIRY CAKES CUPCAKERY AND BAKESHOP REVIEWS

We got our wedding cake and desserts from here and everything was amazing! The cake turned out so beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. The lemon bars were a total hit—our guests loved them and they went so fast! So happy we chose them for our big day.

So impressed with the selection of desserts I picked up today! Everything I’ve tried was executed perfectly. The strawberry macaron had a lovely flavor – not overpowering but distinctly strawberry. The fruit tart was luscious, and the fruit was fresh. They bake with care and pride here.

Fairy Cake Bakeshop is the sweet spot in Buffalo. The place was very clean, fresh and the overall tone was welcoming the second I walked in. The staff were genuinely kind and respectful. There was no rushing, no attitude, just good people who seem happy to be there. Met the owner, Nicole. Who really cares about what she’s building and takes a lot of pride in it. She truly enjoys sharing her passion with the community, not just selling desserts. Her and her staff make it the kind of place that makes you want to come back and support local. I left with 8 cookies and and a cupcake... for cheat day haha.

SWEET BEGINNINGS BAKERY REVIEWS

Just picked up my daughter's birthday cake and as always it looks and taste amazing.

Tried the mini cupcakes from Sweet Beginnings for a small birthday get together. The chocolate peanut butter one was my favorite. Super rich chocolate with that perfect peanut butter frosting that’s not too sweet. The red velvet was really soft with a nice cream cheese frosting that didn’t go overboard, and the funfetti was just straight-up fun. Light, fluffy, and honestly hard to stop eating. They’re small enough that you feel like you can try one of each,and then suddenly you’ve had like five. No regrets, definitely going back for more.

Had some cupcakes and mousse topped cookies. They were phenomenal. Also had a cinnamon roll that is now the standard I will be judging others against. Prices are slightly higher than expected but that’s probably the new normal in the American golden age of 2026.
