Metropol Bakery is amazing. The Chocolate Cream Puffs have Rich Creme Patissiere and Fresh Whipped Cream in a French Choux Pastry topped with Chocolate. They are huge and great for sharing. The September Seventh Cake is Cocoa Souffle layers filled with Vanilla Whipped Cream and iced with Dark Chocolate Ganache Whipped Cream, and it is yummy and very satisfying. The Lemon Sour Cream Pie has fresh Homemade Lemon Curd mixed with Whipped Sour Cream, Cream, and Lemon Zest garnished with Whipped Cream and Fresh Lemon Slices. This a fresh and Zesty Lemon Pie that tastes fantastic. Metropol's Bread selection is enticing and the Birdseed Multigrain Rolls are my favorite they make delicious BLT Sandwiches.

First time eating here, took my MIL for Mother's Day and I was very impressed with the food selections. I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon and a chocolate eclair as well as a decaf white chocolate Ppeppermint mocha Both delicious! Would like to try their sourdough bread the next time I go. Price is a bit on the higher side but the quality you're getting is well worth it. If you haven't been check em out, I know you'll leave satisfied.

Best bakery in Eugene. Breads are all amazing -- Eugene sourdough especially, is SO GOOD. Cakes delicious. Great quiche. Chicken salad is the best I've ever had. Everything is fresh, and the workers kind and helpful. The cafe is a lovely space for enjoying a quick snack.

Mad Batters is a true local gem. The owner, Candy is so friendly and goes out of her way to make your event special. Inside is super cute with its Alice in Wonderland theme and the back room is perfect for coffee date with friends. Their bakery case is small and the items rotate so if you have a favorite, you should call ahead to see if they have any in stock. They serve tons of drink options as well. Seasonal coffees, flavored drinks and tea. Candy catered my son’s wedding. We did a cake testing that was just incredible and we ended up ordering a beautiful assortment for a dessert bar. They delivered and set it all up and we got compliments all night. I recommend the Sweet Child o Mine cake shots and the wonderbars. Other favorites were Devil went down to Georgia, hero cookies and anything chocolate! We should have listened to her advice on quantity because we bought more than we needed but having dessert leftovers was yummy and the cake shots stayed fresh for about 4-5 days. They also did a small wedding cake that was gorgeous and exactly what they wanted. Ask her about her wedding cake offer. She does something special if you are the type that wants to save a piece for the one year anniversary. Overall A+

We hired Mad Batters Bakery for our wedding reception. Kandy collaborated with us on ideas and we ended up going with a cheesecake bar with a few trays of cookies for those who didn’t want cheesecake. The cheesecakes were AMAZING. We still get comments on them. For our cake, we had a NY style cheesecake with marionberry topping. The left overs were our breakfast the next morning. We also had a lavender cheesecake and a lemon blueberry, among the NY style with fruit toppings. They were simple and beautiful, just like we wanted. Those who were not into cheesecake enjoyed the cookies as well. Kandy really knows her craft. Everything we tried was not only tasty but aesthetically pleasing as well. We highly recommend Mad Batters for your event!

We used Mad Batters for our wedding dessert bar and couple's cake. Kandy is absolutely amazing and made everything we dreamed of a reality! We are fans of this place and knew exactly what we wanted, and they made it happen. Everyone absolutely loved the desserts and it was all so beautiful. I am so thankful for Mad Batters and so glad they were a part of our big day!
