I picked up a half dozen cupcakes for a birthday, which were all quite tasty. In particular, the red velvet deserves a shout-out. It has that home-made buttermilk twang to the cake that really shows it's made from scratch.

The bean counter was so kind to donate two beautiful cakes to our residency wellness week! They are such a staple in our community and go above and beyond for the community they serve. Not to mention, the cakes are absolutely delicious!!!! Please support small - a place where you can not only get the best pastries/bakery items but also support the local businesses that support us! I go to the spot a lot, and I generally enjoy it. When it gets very busy, it can get a little noisy. I like going earlier in the day when it’s quieter. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had although their selection of herbal teas is a little slim. It’s a convenient spot to stop and talk with friends or coworkers.

I’ve recently ordered cakes for two occasions and was thrilled with the design and the taste! The first was chocolate with espresso buttercream filling and hand made hydrangea blossoms and the second was vanilla/gold with fresh strawberries and buttercream filling and beautifully decorated with flowers, orange slices, even whole oranges! Mara created far more than cakes for me - they were works of art! She was amazing to work with. The huge assortment of treats and breakfast food offered is unbelievable- even more so that many are gluten free! Cake pops, chocolate, covered, Oreos, cupcakes, breads, muffins, cookies, breakfast sandwiches- too many to list - excellent.

I love on the rise for my events! I’ve had them make me two birthday cakes and just did a big order for my baby shower. They totally nail the vision every time. My theme was a cowboy is on the way and I am beyond obsessed with the cake, cookies, and cupcakes they made. Everyone complimented the dessert and said it was an amazing cake. I would definitely recommend.

The kind of bakery/ coffee shop that every neighborhood needs! I love how the ladies take a minute to talk to you. Phenomenal coffee and baked goods. They did our wedding cake as well and it was stunning and delicious.
