Good Cakes and Bakes

Really cute place!! Cupcakes are a bit small for $2.75, I really wish they were a bit bigger. I have to give 5 stars because it's a black owned business and a business ran by a women. I really wanted to order more cupcakes, but they didnt have any flavors I really wanted. No cookies and cream!! I asked why??? And she said it's too much work and that flavor was retired for the season and replaced with a cinnamon cupcake. I really wanted to try the zuppa toscana soup, but they only had black eye pea soup with greens. I thought okay that should be good, but I tried a sample and wasnt that pleased with the flavor. I think it's a really cute place, the 2 cupcakes I order were good (just small). I will try this place again with my neices and nephews.

I absolutely love this place!! For the best desserts in MICHIGAN order from GCB! It's hard to find a bakery that could make a better red velvet than myself, but GCB is that one!! There cakes in a jar give you that right amount to satisfy that sweet tooth. Best to order ahead to make sure your favorite flavor will be available. The only down side it that it's only open certain days (but maybe that's a good thing to keep a person like me from overdoing it, lol).

I ordered cupcakes for an event in Busted Bra Shop. The design on top of the cupcake was really cool and designed by Sherrie Savage at the Coloring Museum so they could be colored using food rated dye. The cupcakes were a hit! Delicious and totally cool!.
