“Dr. Karim H. El-Sherief is board-certified in cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed his internship at the University of Southern California. Dr. El-Sherief completed his residency at LAC+USC Medical Center (now USC/Los Angeles General Medical Center). He then pursued a fellowship in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease at the University of California, San Francisco – Fresno. He served on the USC Internal Medicine Educational Steering Committee from 2006 to 2009 and was Chief Cardiology Fellow from 2011 to 2012. Dr. El-Sherief currently practices at Heart Care Associates and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Arabic.”
