this has been a favorite place of my family for a few years now. we use to live in the area and now that we moved a little further we always try to make an excuse to come this way just to have some lunch. great quality and my son loves the cream cheese wantons, my husband gets the Chinese and I always get the mongo

I can't stop raving about this Mongolian restaurant! The service here is top-notch, with staff who are not only friendly but also knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us through the best options. The food was simply outstanding, offering a wonderful mix of textures and flavors. The ambiance was beautifully decorated with Mongolian artwork, creating a serene environment that enhanced the dining experience. I can't wait to visit again.

Great old Chinese food place (1939). I am so glad I listened to my friend who said that "everyone and their mother say it's good" and hell yes it was! Had the Phoenix Dragon and Honey Walnut Shrimp along with fried rice. Apparently two classic dishes. The service was courteous, professional, very friendly. This place left us wanting to return; there was no time left. If I am ever in Sacramento again, I will definitely be back.

Those honey walnut shrimp were divine! So fresh, perfectly cooked and paired wonderfully with the chowmein. The banana pie was just alright, it tasted very simple and homemade so I didn't quite get the hype.

This was my first time eating there and we had lunch. Mostly single dishes, but the food was good. I would have liked to have the Honey walnut shrimp and Chow mein, but it would have been 2 separate orders. Half plates for lunch to combine would have been great. If they had it, it wasn't offered on the menu I had.

GOLDEN DRAGON RESTAURANT REVIEWS

For a quick, Chinese food fix, Golden Dragon is a good place to go. The staff is nice and their menu is pretty standard. I had the cashew chicken, which was tasty and plentiful. My BF has the honey walnut shrimp which was very good. This place is a little pricey, but I would still recommend it.

Food was fantastic. We had the cajun garlic fries as a starter - amazing smoky, slightly spicy flavor. Bf had honey jalapeno shrimp, I had sweet and sour chicken. Both entrees were delicious. The best sweet and sour chicken I've had - slightly crispy, not overly battered, and right amount of sauce. Lychee soda was good as well, we got another one to go. Our server was great, I believe her name was Angie.

This place has always been a pleasure to go in! And every time I bring my children, they're careful around them with the hot dishes. Also very patient and kind to them. To me that shows great customer service. Thank you for never changing how you treat us ???? and serving us delicious food.
