SZECHUAN PALACE REVIEWS

Quality food, attentive/friendly staff, and quick service. They allow customization if you prefer things sweeter/spicier/saltier/etc. And the area is very clean. This was some of the highest quality Asian food I’ve tried in the city. I like to try new things so I ordered from the Indian/Thai section of the menu, and after a little customization it was perfect. Huge portions as well.

A place to escape and get real Chinese mustard. Family owned and kind. Great specials. The servers are kind, the front desk is cold and dismissive and needs training. I came at a slow time and service was good. Food was cooked ok. Chicken was overcooked. Soup, egg drop, is excellent and I ordered some for home. Noodles are the best in town. Worth the find.

This place is simply amazing. The food is not your typical American style Chinese food. They have a very large menu of Szechuan dishes that are fantastic. You won’t regret giving it a try, and you’ll certainly return. We drive from Akron regularly to eat here.

NEW SICHUAN REVIEWS

I have now eaten at New Sichuan three times. My opinion is that New Sichuan is the best authentic and Americanized Chinese food in Winston-Salem and I have tried lots. The place is spotless with a near perfect sanitation record. The service is quick and friendly. The food is served quickly. On our most recent visit my son had Beef with Diced Hot pepper which he judged to be very good. If you like Americanized Chinese food I can highly recommend their General Tso's Chicken. It is a huge portion and it is likely the best that I have ever eaten. The egg rolls are served piping hot. General's Chicken, an egg roll, water and tip comes to just over $20.00. I highly recommend New Sichuan. The rice even sticks together so you can eat it with a chopstick.

The menu was different than other Chinese restaurants we have been to, but everything was so good! It was brought out quickly so it was very hot. It was delicious! It was a party of six and none of us had any complaints.

I was really surprised that I could find authentic Chinese food in Winston-Salem. My favorite Chinese restaurant every time I am in town.

EAST CHINA RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Yes, after two days of Thanksgiving food we decided to venture out to East China. A family member said she often ate here. The food was fresh and hot. They didn’t skimp on the mushrooms in the Hot and Sour soup, the Shrimp with mixed vegetables was great and even our cousin commented in favor of his Sweet and Sour Chicken. However, the best and dish with the best flavor was the General Tso’s Shriimp. The timely service was greatly appreciated because we were extremely hungry. This was indeed a great choice.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I went here for the 1st time on lunch break around 11 and showed the nice sweet lady working the register, a pic of a meal they sell. She knew exactly what it is and made it spicy for me! The shrimp lo mein and general tso chicken was SOOOOO GOOD OMG! It was fresh, the chicken was crispy how I like it and the sauce was the bomb! I didnt have to add soy or duck sauce, it was so good! Thank you for your great customer service, highly recommend this.

I just love this place! They are always in positive spirits and always working hard and quickly! The food is superb, and anytime I’m in my Hometown I visit from a good grub! Oh and must try their homemade Tea please get a jumbo cup and thank me later.
