TOP 3 GREAT CHINA REVIEWS
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in East Bay for a long time. Decent food quality and great taste. They are famous for pecking duck but I do think they also have other great dishes as well. I love 2 skin appetizer, rice sizzling soup, crab meat with buns. Sour Pork Ribs. I am so glad to see them survive during COVID.
I love Great China. The flavor of each dish is only matched by the speed it takes to pump out the best Chinese dishes in the Bay Area. I may be biased, having spent so many dinners at Great China since it’s old location closer to campus. We often order 10+ dishes when we come with a group of 8. Can’t stress how great the food and service is.
This is probably my favorite place in east bay to take our family for Chinese dinner. Good service, great decor, and the quality is consistent. We usually get the double skin entree and the duck is done with care and cut well. Sizzling rice soup is good too. Price can add up but you get what you pay for. Did a great job with the front of the restaurant and the bathrooms are kept clean.

TOP 3 CHENGDU STYLE RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Authentic food. Cooks actually from Chendu. Tried the Fei Teng Yu (I think they call it fish in hot sauce). Tender, flakey white fish, assorted vegetables in a spicey sauce. There numbing in there as well. Cumin lamb was a bit fatty and onions were just a tad underdone. Low key joint for decent food. They have point-point too.
Came here before a concert at the Greek. We found the place by chance, and were pulled in by the wonderful aromas. The shredded pork with garlic sauce was delicious, and the Mongolian Lamb absolutely incredible. We also had sautéed green beans which I would happily eat with every meal. I'm so glad we stumbled across this place! Will be back.
If you truly want to experience authentic Sichuan cuisine, just come to this restaurant and ask for extra spicy for every dish you order. The hot tea is on the house and the rice is a good $1 value. Definitely going to revisit with fams.

TOP 3 KIRIN CHINESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS
As always it never fails. Great food great drinks great service and good prices. We love this spot. The owners know us but she treats everyone just as nice and equally. Recommend to anyone who is looking for this cuisine.
I found this place when covid first hit and FELL IN LOVE. I literally drive from lake Berryessa to Berkeley JUST for their Shanghai garlic noodles alone! 10/10 recommend this place! Lemon chicken is to die for! The staff is always top tier and the experience when dining in is definitely worth the prices. Takeout is not poorly done either! GREAT PORTIONS!
You can't do better than Kirin. Probably the best Chinese food outside of San Francisco. They've remodeled. Low light, but enough to read the menu. Great service and delicious food.
