“Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa has community groups, upcoming events, a weekly schedule, a teaching series, and a live feed. The church takes its name from its original facilities on the Costa Mesa side of the boundary; it is now in Santa Ana. The original Calvary Chapel has grown since 1965 from a handful of people, led by senior pastor Chuck Smith, to become the "mother church" of over one thousand congregations worldwide. They believe that worshipping God should be spiritual. They open their morning gatherings with a call to worship as they enter a time of corporate worship. Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa gives a great place to music in their worship. They are engaging in God’s mission to renew all things through Jesus.
