I came here 5 years ago to repair my water-damaged MacBook. Computerland was able to salvage my hard drive and, because the rest of my laptop was damaged, they offered to put the old hard drive in another used MacBook they had sitting around. 5 years later, everything still works great on my 2015 MacBook! I appreciate the cost-effective and creative problem solving that allowed my to keep all my files and applications and have a solution cheaper than either repairing the old machine or buying a new laptop.

Fast and friendly with fair pricing - they fixed my Mac Desktop Pro from 2008 that would not boot. They replaced the boot drive and cloned over all of my software/data - this uncovered a RAM issue which they replaced for free. We’re lucky to have a reputable computer repair service in the East Bay! Tri was very communicative through the whole process.

Justin helped me and was amazing. My computer broke down on a Friday before starting a new job on Monday. I explained the issue, and they were able to get me up and running within the same day with expedited help. A small price to pay to ensure that I was able to start my new job in time. Quick, easy, and insightful.

American Tech, Inc (2280 Fulton Street, Berkeley, CA) is an A+ tech repair service. Sam (the owner) is an erudite personality and IT guru. He diagnosed and replaced my new HP Laptop failed 2-TB SSD. Yep! HP sold me a lemon SSD. It failed in only 22-months compared to my MSI Laptop that is 8-years old and still operating fine. I 100% recommend AT (Sam) for any and all computer repairs (compared to Best Buy Geek Squad). AT is affordable (lowest cost in East Bay) and you get A+ service.

Great store with a very knowledgeable owner. Called on the phone in advance asking for a quote to replace laptop fan and gave an estimate very close to the final cost. Other stores would not do this. Well priced and it’s great that the owner offers a priority service if you pay extra. Overall great experience.

Excellent service. The owner Sam was friendly and accommodating with fair prices. His repairs of my laptop were thorough and completed in a timely manner. Highly recommend coming here.

I have been using Berkeley Laptop Repair for years. Just recently, I had my macbook repaired by them. The repair was affordable and super quick. I had the hard drive replaced and also did memory upgrade on it. Their rates are one of the best arouns and their service is superb. Super friendly and very professional, too. Very recommended.
