“Kay Linette Evans has over 36 years of experience in the legal field. She completed her J.D. at the University of Missouri Columbia School of Law, Columbia, Missouri, and her B.A. at Missouri Western State College, St. Joseph. Kay Linette Evans was chosen as Missouri's outstanding Defender in 1994 and was chosen as Missouri's "OUTSTANDING DEFENDER" in 1994. Ms. Evans has been a substance abuse counselor and prison guard. She has a degree in Psychology and Sociology and went to Law School when she was 31 years old. Her experience helps her check each case for constitutional problems, like illegal searches and seizures. Ms. Evans takes part in classes, lectures, and panels at the law school, including Life Skills for Lawyers. In 1995, Kay Linette Evans joined the firm Harper Evans Hilbrenner & Netemeyer and represented various people and types of cases, trying dozens of jury trials. The firm has a dedicated team of criminal defense attorneys, personal injury attorneys, and family law attorneys.
