"Amarillo Performing Arts Center strives each day to share its dance school values with its students, families, and staff. Schae Sissel is the owner and artistic director of APAC. Schae has cherished the relationships she has built with her students throughout her 22 years of teaching and 12 years of business ownership. The dance center has more than 9 years of experience in this field. Their academy classes range from just 18 months old to high school. Their culture is designed to inspire their students to become the very best they can be, both inside the studio and out. They are forever grateful to those who have chosen to pursue the arts with them. They also organize summer day camps.

Each class is provided for their age group once before deciding which one is best for your child. Their classes allow you to wear whatever is comfortable for moving around. Their schedule includes convenient weekly class times for recreational and competitive dancers. All studios feature a live video feed that you can access by logging into their system.

I cannot recommend The Edge Amarillo enough! The teachers and staff are not only caring and knowledgeable but also truly invested in the success and growth of every dancer. From beginners to seasoned competitors, they foster a welcoming and supportive environment that feels like family. The atmosphere is positive, and you can see how much they value both skill development and personal growth. Their competitive team is absolutely incredible! The level of dedication and teamwork they instill is unmatched, and it's so inspiring to see how they push each dancer to reach their full potential. Whether you're looking for a fun place to learn dance or you're serious about competition, The Edge Amarillo is the place to be.

Best Dance Studio in Amarillo! They have recreational classes for kids as young as 18 months that we have absolutely loved! All 3 of my kids now dance at The Edge and every staff member we have encountered has been kind, helpful, and top notch! When it comes to dance, this is the place to be, whether that’s just for fun/exercise or if you/your kid plan to pursue dance collegiately or professionally in the future.

The absolute best place to send your kiddo for dance! The owner and teachers all truly care about the kids and work hard to create a safe and fun environment for learning.

DOXA REVIEWS

We have been with Doxa for a few years now and love it! The community within Doxa is warm and welcoming. It has been such a blessing to us. I love how it has helped grow my daughters dance skills as well as her faith in God. We have danced with other ballet companies but honestly won’t go anywhere else. You won’t sacrifice outstanding ballet training here, and on top of that get the wonderful, faith filled, encouraging atmosphere of DOXA. And, the director Brittanie is amazing.

My five year old is attending doxa and we love it. She goes once a week for about an hour. My daughter can hardly wait to go each week. There is a main teacher and a student helper that is a preteen. They are always so kind and loving in there. The price is amazing and it is biblical based. So they teach a lesson about Christ each week and often dance to worship music. We love this place and will be signing up again for next year.

Best dance studio ever! I appreciate that the dress is modest and I appreciate how affordable the recital costume is. I appreciate that is it fitted for in class as that gives patents less of a headache. I appreciate that tights can be preferred through the Doxa website and given to my daughter at class.
