AMARILLO ZOO REVIEWS
The enclosures are large and well maintained, the animals seem very comfortable and most of them were out and about and easy to see! The reptile house is super nice and the education center is really cool. The tickets are very affordable and this is a great place to unwind and look at some cool critters.
This place was great! The kids loved it. It isn't very big, but for the price it's an awesome value! There was still plenty to see and do. Strongly recommend you check it out while in Amarillo.

AMARILLO BOTANICAL GARDENS REVIEWS
It's so beautiful here. I've shared pictures from August. But I went today to see the Christmas lights and wow! Take the family. My favorite places there are the greenhouse because of the waterfall. It's so relaxing. As well as the Asian garden with the koi pond. Put this place on your "things to do list".
Small, but very nice garden with lots of variety. Glad that we didn't miss it. If you like gardens at all, this one is worth the trip and the price for admission. You can get through it quickly, but it's so nice that we spent half a day and would have liked to stay longer. The volunteers are very helpful and informative.
Beautiful places of self-reflection that allows you to escape into nature. Check times, if you can go when it's not a busy it's even more magical. Kids loved it.

DON HARRINGTON DISCOVERY CENTER REVIEWS
It was perfect for families! Lots of hands on fun. We spent 2 hours and could have spent more time...we closed them down. Two sides of inside activities and an outside activity grounds. It is right by the time capsule and a great outside park with water stations. Great time.
Always a fun time for the kids. It's a great place to spend a cold or rainy day with your kids. Definitely a great place to run around and use your imagination. I love how they do random experiments throughout for the kids.
Such a fantastic and interactive place for kids and parents. We have annual membership and it's certainly worth it. Our kids love to create and play here.
