AMARILLO ZOO REVIEWS
Great zoo for the size! We spent about a hour here and easily could have spent plenty more time there. The exhibits were orderly and clean. All staff was very nice as well. Worth every bit of the $4 entry fee.
This zoo, although small, was one of the best I have been to! It was a cool day when we went and all the animals were out and active, except the monkeys, but we saw them through a glass window. We went through twice because we enjoyed it so much! So worth the small entrance fee!
For only $4 a person this zoo provides a great outdoor experience for the kids. They have peacocks, lions, tigers, and their newest addition is a 2 month old camel.

AMARILLO BOTANICAL GARDENS REVIEWS
Absolutely beautiful botanical garden. There are so many different varieties of plants, as well as different sections of the gardens to explore. My husband and I came here for the first time yesterday and were blown away. We love the huge greenhouse as well as the Japanese garden. We were excited to be a part of garden fest as vendors, and we will definitely be back!
A great and inexpensive place to spend a couple hours surrounded by beauty in Amarillo. The kids enjoyed the deep green grass and the greenhouse with its birds and water features. There's also an extensive public splash pad and playground right next door.
Charming garden and very well maintained without the use of pesticides. I recommend this place to anyone who loves roses.

DON HARRINGTON DISCOVERY CENTER REVIEWS
Great place to bring your kids of all ages! A wonderful learning adventure! Always undergoing some improvements and new experiences so it never gets old. I came here in elementary school as a kid and it was so much fun! Now I get to take my six year old son and watch him learn and experience everything they have!
We absolutely LOVE the discovery center! We go at least once per year and the kids always enjoy it. The best part is, so do rhe adults! I've been going since I was a tiny kid and it has always had so many fun and engaging things to do. I really enjoy hearing my kids discuss the new things they learned while we were there, not even realizing they were learning! They just think it's FUN!! Highly recommend!!!
Great time, fun for the whole family, enjoyed the planetarium show as well. Would definately recommend if you are traveling through Amarillo!!
