TACOMA DANCE STUDIOS LLC REVIEWS

I’ve been going to classes here for a few months now, and all of the instructors I’ve had are amazing. I often go to the salsa/bachata classes with Steven and the community is so welcoming. Steven encourages us to better our technique while also having LOTS of fun. The socials hosted at TDS are a great place to learn. Tonight, I tried a hip hop class with Drew and he was also so incredibly patient and approached teaching dance with such passion and emphasized that all people can engage in dance as a form of expression which is an excellent reminder. I’ve also taken classes with Kat, Stacy and Ashley and they are all wonderful as well! Props to all of you. There’s a great set of instructors here and a community of supportive students.

Big love to Tacoma Dance Studios—I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Six months ago, I started this journey feeling out of shape, lazy, overweight and unmotivated. I committed to the unlimited monthly pass. That consistency completely transformed me—not just physically (down 35 lbs), but mentally too. TDS helped shift my entire mindset around movement and health. The energy, encouragement, and positivity you bring to the community is truly something special. Grateful to be part of it.

This is such a gift to the Tacoma area to have a dance studio that supports all bodies to find movement and culture. I just completed 10 weeks of beginner belly dance with Kat and loved it so much. I feel more confident in my body and dance. Very inspired to continue the journey.

Such an amazing dance studio. The staff and owner are always so welcoming and caring. This is both of my daughters second season here and not only have they shown growth in dance, but also with themselves. I was so scared they were going to back out of their first recital last year, but this dance studio helped my girls become so confident in themselves. I’ve never seen them have such a strong passion for anything. Thank you SMAC for not just being amazing dance teachers, but for also being amazing role models to all of your dancers.

This the fourth year our daughter has danced with SMAC and we absolutely love it! The teachers are so loving, engaging and very professional. I always encourage others to check it out when they have a child interested in getting involved in dance. They have a huge variety of classes and dance styles to choose from. My daughter always looks forward to their fun summer dance camps as well.

My daughter has been with SMAC since they've started! I love watching the studio grow as well as seeing my daughter's dance skills improve. Thank you for holding a great space for these talented kids! Miss Giselle and Miss Raven along with the great dance instructors are amazing.

STUDIO 6 BALLROOM REVIEWS

If you haven't been to Studio 6, you need to come! It's honestly hard for me to put into words how much the owners Natasha and Wes have impacted my life over the last 10 months with this place. I have learned and grown so much under their tutelage and made amazing friends. Whatever your experience dancing, S6 will welcome you and embrace you as part of the community. These are some of the loveliest people I have ever met, and I have become healthier both physically and mentally since joining their classes. They also have a great venue if you're looking to book a place. The high school I work for used it for prom and it was perfect.

Natasha is a warm and talented instructor. If you are a novice, or looking to refine your technique, she will get you where you want to go with your dancing and a smile on her face. A true treasure.

I can't express enough how fantastic Studio 6 and Natasha are. While I had some background in ballroom dance, Natasha has taken my skills to new heights beyond my expectations. The community she has created is wonderful! There's always a friendly and enthusiastic person to dance with. I highly recommend it.
