I realized real quick that the most important thing to get for your wedding is a PLANNER. As a bride, having Blue Wings with me every step of the way made my life so much easier. Planning was streamlined with constant contact, and they got in contact with all vendors so I didn't have to. They were a big help at rehearsal, since I had so many people to get into line! Once all the final details were cemented, the day of became my perfect fantasy wedding. If anything went wrong, I have no idea anything did. They had everything under control, and kept the wedding moving with a schedule. I was worry free, and enjoying my wedding to the max! If ANY bride is on the fence about hiring planners, you need to choose them! Planners are a must, but you must have the best, the kindest, and the natural leaders that they are. Get Blue Wings!

Diana and her team truly made our wedding day unforgettable! In 2019, my now-husband, Selvin, and I were trying to mentally prepare ourselves for the stress that comes with wedding planning. However, as soon as COVID-19 hit in 2020, we were a mess! We had our initial call with Diana before COVID-19, where we had a large expected guest list. However, we had to pause on reaching out to vendors and confirming with them because we weren’t sure what we would do in the middle of COVID-19. During the stress of it all, Diana was so patient with us as we tried to figure things out. She was there for us even BEFORE we booked her! We knew right there and then that if the wedding were to go on, Diana had to be part of it. Initially, we went back-and-forth with hiring a day-of-coordinator, but booking with Diana was the BEST decision we could have made.
From the start, Diana made herself available even before our month-of contract started if I had questions about vendors or needed advice. She was so organized and I knew she would have everything covered. A month out, Diana came on board full force. She immediately set up a meeting with us, set up the walk-through with our vendors at the venue, and made herself very available by email and phone whenever we had questions. Her 10-page timeline of our entire wedding day included everything, color coded, from vendor setup, to transportation for each person in our wedding party and where they needed to be and when, and so much more. She finalized the details with all the vendors, took care of setting up our personal items, and made sure the day went as planned.
Our wedding day was wonderful. Our photographer knew when and where to be to for photos. Diana coordinated transportation from our hotel to our photo session and to the venue. Throughout the day, I would question myself – how in the world would we have been able to pull this off without a wedding coordinator! Our wedding day was amazing. Our guest had a blast. We were even able to enjoy the food and music we selected all thanks to Diana. I would highly encourage anyone considering a month-of wedding coordinator to get one without hesitation. can without a doubt say that the best decision we made in our wedding planning was to hire Ashley and her team. Working with Ashley, you could tell that she was genuinely excited for our marriage and celebration. And not only that, she also brought all our vendors along with her in the excitement. Her ability to read the crowd and us as bride and groom to see if the schedule needed any adjusting was hands down the best I’ve ever seen. I personally credit the Grit City team with keeping me functioning on my wedding day. They went above and beyond and made sure I had anything I needed before I ever thought to ask. (Eg. Advil and water on a schedule to fend off a migraine). I feel like I can’t express how deeply appreciative I really am so I’ll end with this… If you’re on the fence about booking with Grit City… DO IT! I cannot recommend them enough!
Just wow. It’s hard to say enough about what Ashley and her team brought to our backyard wedding. They single handedly made sure everything happened exactly as we were hoping. Originally thinking we didn’t need a wedding coordinator, it was only a miracle that landed us together as she had a cancellation the day before I called her. With less than 2 months notice, she handled everything beautifully and was an absolute delight to work with. Coordinating vendors, organizing set up and getting everybody where they needed to go. She was meticulous with the details, took enormous pressure off of us in the days leading up to the event, and went absolutely above and beyond on the day of. I have been recommending her to everyone and would use her again in a heartbeat for any event planning needs I have. Everyone on her team was amazing and truly did so much more than I ever expected.
