" Dr. Ani Tajirian is double board-certified in dermatology and Mohs micrographic dermatologic surgery. She has performed over 5,000 Mohs surgeries. Dr. Ani Tajirian studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, pursuing her passion for the French language and art history. She completed her residency in dermatology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the University of Vermont. She has training in skin cancer removal and pathology, facial reconstruction (including flaps and grafts), laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Ani Tajirian is fluent in Armenian and volunteers extensively in Armenia, where she trains doctors, treats patients, and facilitates equipment donations. Dr. Ani Tajirian has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, authored several textbook chapters, and lectured at national conferences. She practices at Dermatology Center of the East Bay. They are a comprehensive general and cosmetic dermatology practice, that has a special interest in the treatment of skin care needs for all types of skin tone and color.
