My first visit was in the Rowlett office and every person I interacted with was on top of their game--THANK THE LORD!!! I REALLY enjoyed Dr. Igala and her hands on approach, her communication skills, and her thoroughness--A+!!! SHE IS A KEEPER!!! PROS: ALL of the above. ALSO, I was very impressed that Dr. Igala was well prepared for my visit, she had my new patient info in hand, referred to it often and even made notes gave it back to me before leaving CONS: Phone # for doctor was always answered by Greenville office staff who were always friendly, however, I never received any calls to pre-register as a new patient, etc.

I absolutely adore Dr. Paturi. For the first time in 30+ years my diabetes is completely controlled - as long as I listen to her. Her manner is lovely and concerned. With her attentive tweaking and adjusting, my A1c has gone from 14 to 5.6. She CARES and is completely up front which was hard to take at first but the results are mind blowing!

Dr. Paturi has a wonderful bed-side manner. And she is smart. She is up on the latest meds and research! She doesn't blame her patients but works to find solutions with them. Rather than a lecture, Dr. Paturi partners with her patients and doesn't talk down to them. She is always completely focused on the patient during the visit and treats each situation individually. No shame or guilt with Dr. Paturi. She acknowledges just how hard it can be. She armed me with a sound plan for managing my Thyroid, Parathyroid challenges and blood glucose after my surgery. She told me my health risk factors in a way that didn't make me panic. I left with a lifestyle plan that is sane and takes into consideration my limitations. I just love her and her nurses! You are not just another patient with her. And I have been to three different doctors who just gave me the same meds and the same lecture without really listening. Many don't realize that I have lost a considerable amount of weight already, that I am exercising daily, getting in my steps and counting every carb gram I eat with an mobile app and fitness tracker! It is so nice to finally be listened to by my physician! I feel more in control of my numbers and better about my responsibilities as a patient. Empowered too!
