Dr Joseph Vu is a very knowledgeable Endocrinologist who have been treating and working with me to stabilize my thyroid health issues. He is a good listener and shows much respect and compassion with the patient’s concerns and fears and answer your questions in a simple and understanding way.

He does not give up on you and does NOT treat you like a number. At first, I was so uneasy, but he worked with me step at a time.

I have hypothyroidism which had been missed by a prior (non-Kaiser) primary MD. The minute Dr. Eng saw me she diagnosed what was wrong.

She is one of the foremost reasons I switched to Kaiser so that I could continue to see Dr. Eng. I can email her anytime and Dr. Eng always responds so quickly.

Whenever I have questions or ask for different treatments, Dr. Eng always listens to me and seeks to always make me comfortable with my medical care. Dr. Eng remembers me and my family.

Dr Kandula has been my endocrinologist for two years. I was very sick and had been in the hospital several times. She set me up with meds and sensors. She was very thorough and she really helped me get better.

Today was the first time in 4 years I saw an actual endocrine doctor. Unfortunately, over the 4 years, I have been ignored or told a variety of stories which translated meant, it's not that serious. So why was I sent to a pharmacist instead of a doctor. Something wrong with here. I'm so impressed with Dr. Kandula. I didn't mind the wait as long as I received answers. She is interested in hearing the problems and is ready to tackle the issues without hesitation. So it takes a little longer wait but wouldn't that be insignificant compared to top notch care which I received. Definitely, make an appointment to see her especially if diabetes is an issue.

Dr. Kandula is a wonderful doctor! She listens to you attentively and looks for solutions quickly. I am a Type 2 diabetic with severe neuropathy. She is working with me on solutions that work for me. I’m very pleased to have found her and am proud to call her my doctor.
