Emily with Milk Glass was nothing short of SPECTACULAR! I got married in November 2024 and I could not speak more highly of Emily as a wedding planner (and person!) and Milk Glass as a planning company if I tried. I am as far from type A as brides come (my husband is the planner, but I quickly realized, not with details and all things wedding) and while I had a GENERAL vision of most of the things I wanted for the wedding, I could not have made ANY OF IT come to life without Emily. When we found and officially chose Emily as our planner, the only thing we had done was choose our wedding venue (Spruce Mountain Ranch) and had an idea of which caterer we wanted to use. I had no idea where to start in finding a florist, photographer, videographer, band and so much more. After our FIRST meeting with Emily (and my husband being hesitant about having a planner), seeing how well organized, eager to listen and patient she was, we knew we made the right choice. She provided recommendations for all vendors based on discussions we had and what we shared was important, handled all the contact with the vendors, helped me navigate the “general” ideas I had and made them come to life FLAWLESSLY. After every meeting we had with her she provided a recap and reminders of things I should be working on and what she was working on. When I asked about certain things, questions about vendors, etc. she was incredibly responsive and prompt in responding and reached out to whoever she needed to and got back to me with lightning speed. She kept e on track as we got closer to the wedding.

We truly only have positive things to say about Carly and her team. My husband and I got married at Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park in September 2021, and worked with Carly and her team for about a year to plan the event. Carly was so on the ball and was amazing at asking us questions and documenting our likes/dislikes/taste/inspiration so perfectly so that we were able to find vendors and plan an event that was exactly in line with what we envisioned. Carly always worked within our needs and budget, but she also provided great suggestions and tips to make our wedding even more special. For example, my husband and I met at an apple orchard- and Carly and her team put together a beautiful and classy "farm stand" welcome table inspired by how we met, such as special touch! In the same vein, Carly thought of an idea to use dried fruit as decorations on the tables and meal markers for our table seating to add more color and fall vibes. This ended up adding such a beautiful, rustic, and unique element to our dinner decorations, and we received lots of compliments.

Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Emily was beyond detail oriented, kept me in the loop of everything going on, worked with different vendors and MGP team members on design and pricing, and made sure to make our vision come to life. Planning a wedding from over 2,000 away can be stressful, but the MGP team made it painless.
