Had my annual eye exam here for the first time. Fantastic experience overall. A comprehensive eye exam is $110 (copay depends). The receptionist (sorry didn't get the name) and Dr. May was super friendly and made everything very efficient. Would definitely come back for my next exam.

First visit for myself and my husband and we were very pleased! Staff was very pleased and knowledgeable. Dr. was very thorough with her examination. Very informative on any concerns and we were very happy with the complete visit! Definitely recommend her!.

I had such a great experience today. Doctor and receptionist were both so friendly and helpful, and were active listeners for my health concerns. Will absolutely be going back..

I highly recommend Academy Eye Associates. They have been friendly, professional, and great with follow-up. What I particularly appreciate is the doctor's willingness to try different solutions for contact lens issues to achieve a better result. Her willingness to take the time to get it right has resulted in my being able to wear my contacts whenever I choose rather than feeling stuck with glasses when I'd rather use my contact lenses.

The team here is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring. I have a high prescription, and they took the time to help me find the most flattering and thinnest glasses I’ve ever had. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality made the whole experience exceptional. I couldn’t be happier with my new glasses.

Would give 10 stars if I could. Everyone in this practice is refreshingly kind and professional. You can tell that Dr. Powell respects her colleagues and makes the office a pleasant place not only for patients, but for staff.

Not only did they get me in fast due to the urgency of my need, every person I had contact with was not only pleasant and professional but GENUINE in their kindness, humor and seriousness in treatment. This is especially important given that I was brand new and a stranger coming in at the last moment of a Monday. Dr. Pate, was quick and thorough, and frank in his approach. The offices were clean and tidy and had up to date equipment and privacy. No fluff in this place to create extra charges. Everything that was needed was here and it seemed warm and familiar to me. I'm confident whether you have an urgent need, a long term goal or just a pair of script sunglasses, this is the place to go.

My wife and I have been coming here for several years now. Dr. Bruce Pate and the staff are really nice and take time to answer questions and help in any way they can. They have lots of eyeglass frames to choose from. Really nice place.

Always a great experience! I've been seeing Dr Pate for a number of years. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and seek to do right by us.
