Dr. Michael M. Haglund is a board-certified neurosurgeon who earned his MD, neurosurgery residency, and epilepsy surgery fellowship from the Univ. of Washington. He practices at the Duke Spine Center. He has been giving neurosurgical care at Duke health since 1995. He takes care of his patients in his own care through careful histories, examinations, and a review of imaging studies; he uses the process to plan whether conservative care or possible surgery will reduce their pain and get them back to living at their best.
