3 Best Fencing Contractors in Newark, NJ

We're a mid-sized manufacturing company in Hudson County (400 employees), and needed 200 feet of standard steel chain link fence, complete with posts and barbed wire. We were a little apprehensive looking for a fence company, since we haven't dealt with a fencing contractor in years. Neal came out, explained what we needed, gave us a detailed quote and was helpful and attentive throughout the whole project. The team of workers we got was Eddie, Paul, and Dwayne. They worked for three days on our fence, and were busy and kept to themselves. All were polite, good-natured and had years of experience. If you're a company like us, shooting-in-the-dark looking for a good fencing company, crossing your fingers that you don't get taken advantage of - look no further. Academy is what you're looking for: a normal family-owned NJ contractor with a team of workers with experience who are polite and attentive. They worked in freezing weather, and ensured that we were satisfied with the work before leaving. Special shout-out to Eddie, he's exactly the type of contractor/worker you want.

I had a simple cedar fence put in my backyard about a month ago. Eddie and Duane did a perfect job. They were friendly, helpful, and professional, and they had the whole thing up in about 3-4 hours. The fence is sturdy, straight and level, and looks great! Can't recommend them enough. On a side note, I just went back to buy some additional loose boards for a separate DIY project, and everyone there was--again--very helpful, friendly, and generous with their time. Great group of people! I'd absolutely use them again.

I'm patting myself on the back for hiring Academy Fence! It's rare when my high expectations are exceeded...but Eddy and Duane went above and beyond every step of the way. The quality of lumber as well as the care in installation were all overboard. They made several trips in advance to review before the job just to make sure we are happy...and didn't skimp on the time and effort to make sure the results were perfect...even in 100 degree weather. And...to boot...the price couldn't be beat. Just outstanding.
