BISTRO VENDÔME REVIEWS

Everything about the restaurant was excellent. We had the mussels, the steak fritte and the trout and all were excellent. Oh yes and the fresh hot bread was as well. We also had no problems finding a place to park but it was a Tuesday night. We learned of this restaurant through our membership with the Tasting Collective (which is an amazing way to explore restaurants and get to know the chefs). We were missing the opportunity to go here so tried on our own. Highly recommend .

They have a select menu that is exquisite and the wine menu is extensive. The server knew her venue extremely well and gave the best recommendations. The Tajine de Poulet was outstanding and very filling.

Fantastic place, good food, good service. A great bistro for a date night or just a more intimate setting with friends. I highly recommend and would come back. A gem in Denver for sure.

What a delicious dining experience! The French Onion Soup was heavenly, and every part of our meal was just delectible. Highly recommend the oysters and creme brulee! Great atmosphere, straightforward delicious food without pretentiousness.

Absolute gem of Cherry Creek North for 15+ years…. Our brunch and bottomless mimosas were fabulous… I thoroughly enjoyed the service, ambiance, decor, service, my salmon omelette and salad… and that dressing!!

Perfect place for a party! We hosted a luncheon for 20 people at La Merise. Terrific food - great service! And the room is lovely. Beyond great service, Elena helped us find the perfect, well priced wine. Highly recommended!

Bon Ami is a charming French bistro in Denver’s Wash Park neighborhood that delivers both authentic flavors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the intimate ambiance, soft lighting, and friendly service set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. I had the Steak au Poivre, and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly—tender and juicy on the inside with a beautifully seared peppercorn crust. The rich, creamy cognac-peppercorn sauce added just the right balance of heat and depth of flavor, complementing the steak without overpowering it. Paired with crispy, golden pommes frites, it was a classic yet indulgent dish that I’d order again in a heartbeat.

I went to Bon Ami for the first time tonight. I had one of the specials (rabbit ravioli), chocolate mousse and a glass of Malbec. The food was wonderful, but the service was even better! Chad was our server and he was amazing, you couldn't ask for better service! I will definitely be back to try more dishes as so many sounded delicious.

We enjoyed the beef stroganoff and seafood crepe last week. Also the beet salad. We sat in a booth near the front door in the bar area. That kind of seat can be problematic but besides being a little noisy, it was fine. It was also a warm night so didn’t get drafts from the front door. Our service was great and I think the value is fair. I’ve been here in summer and eaten outside and that is a treat.
