Prior to the passing of my sweet mama, Romero Funeral Home was patient, kind and helpful with supporting her and caring for her last wishes, answering all her questions. Once I lost her, they were likewise the same with me - they made the process as easy as they could, always answering my questions, providing empathy and guidance throughout the process. They were exceptionally professional and kind. I recommend them to everyone, wholeheartedly and with confidence. Losing a loved one is hard enough - it helps to entrust end of life issues to someone you can count on to take care of you, and especially your dear loved one. Lastly, her urn is absolutely beautiful ~ exactly what my mama wanted and we picked out, together.

I want to thank the whole Romero Funeral Home staff for doing such an amazing job on my brothers services. Lizeth helped organize everything and was patient and kind. Lizeth also helped with my mother's funeral as well years ago and did amazing. One person did stand out and his name is Raul. He took care of our requests and some were even last minute. He helped set up the video slide show along with being supportive to me & our family. He said some kind words that did help with grieving then and now. He just did such a great job on everything. The service for my loved one was PERFECT! The staff and the funeral director were awesome. Very caring and expressed sympathy. I could not have asked for a better place to celebrate my loved one going home. Thank you Tess, pastor Adam and pastor Val. A beautiful and restful cemetery that any student of history should visit. There are many elegantly carved headstones in this large cemetery. The trees and animals that can be seen in the area make it a very natural place of repose. It's easy to see that those buried here are well taken care of by the staff of Fairmount and that even the oldest tombs are protected with love.

This is a beautiful and enchanting cemetery located approximately 6 miles east of the Colorado Capitol. There are many famous and infamous Coloradans here including Col. Chivington, Wild West Madam Mattie Silkes, Cattle Baron John Iliff, Educator Emily Griffith, John Elitch (Elitch Gardens)....and many politicians, Medal of Honor recipients, industrialists, etc.

Debbie was so helpful in helping me find the graves of past relatives. She went above and beyond by providing me records about them, their resting place and where to find them. I love Fairmount and visit frequently for walks/bike rides. It is a beautiful cemetery and is well maintained.
