D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home

I can’t say enough about McComb Funeral Home. I suppose that sounds odd, but it’s true. The folks there are considerate, efficient and make a difficult time more tolerable. It’s obvious why the business has survived for so long…. I had the difficult task of retrieving my husband’s ashes and the dignified manner in which they delivered them to me was both respectful and comforting…..from the lovely private room, to the table complete with candles and a picture they made up especially for me. They also allowed me private time with him before I took him which I found to be very mentally valuable, and didn’t even realize how much I needed that. I would recommend McComb to anyone finding themselves in the imaginable place when their excellent services are needed.

I could not have asked for a better experience. From the planning of the funeral with Giy, my father being picked up and being dressed etc in casket for showing by Shad to Norma at the funeral who I cannot say enough about. She is an angel. Norma got me through the showing and closing of the casket. She was sent that day by GOD there is no doubt.

D.O. McComb allowed our family to make our mother's celebration of life special and unique to her. We were able to celebrate her in pageantry and praise dance and mime. We were able to honor her as the Matriarch of our family. We were able to show how much we loved and cared about her. She was smiling down on her family the day of her services and she did receive and wore her crown. Thank you D.O. McComb for your excellent service.
