My partner has a tendency to drag my to building tours whenever we visit a new city. Little did I know that this one would be the best one yet! Led by Jacob, I was entralled from the beginning with not just the beauty of the building (outside and inside), but the dedicated love Jacob had for the building itself. His knowledge, passion, and excitement about its rich past, present, and future made our group ecstatic to be there despite the subzero outdoor temperature! Highly recommend joining this tour for any local or visitor! Nifty history lesson and glimpse of the past.

We went on a tour of the Fisher Building. Our guide was Jacob and he did a great job. His passion for Detroit and its architecture was apparent throughout the tour. I learned a lot about the important presence of this building to the people who lived in the area. The next time I go to a show at the Fisher Theater I will appreciate knowing how this theater has changed over the decades.

This tour was great! I've been to the Fisher dozens of times but the tour provide so much information about the history of the building. It is definitely worth your time to see Detroit's most spectacular work of art! Thanks Jacob for a fantastic tour.

Popped into this colorful shop in Eastern Market today and was greeted by these super sweet girls. Their delightful shop is stocked with high quality items from their Mexican culture. This is a great place to get a unique gift for that hard to buy for person. They have some really cool looking Frida journals that I passed on but picked up some cute earrings. Be sure to admire the gorgeous monsterra when you first walk in.

Diana and Paola have the kindest hearts and work hard to make their customers feel valued. Their products are all carefully hand crafted and beautifully colorful. I have gotten the chance to build a bond with these ladies and learn more about the artisans in Mexico that make their livelihood off of these handmade goods. They regularly have new arrivals and a wide variety of products. I love that each order comes with a free little extra gift too.

Shop inventory changes regularly, so if you see something you like, don't wait!
