MGM GRAND DETROIT REVIEWS

MGM is a great casino to choose in the Metro Detroit Area. I was extremely impressed with how clean this facility was considering all the foot traffic, upon walking in. The receptionists greeted us immediately and were very informative while helping us get checked in as it was our first visit. The rooms were fairy new and meet all of my expectations. The casino staff were approachable and just happy to be there. The variety of games were amazing and super easy to navigate. I really appreciated that there was a designated area for smoking & playing for those who smoke and also for those who do not tolerate smoke well. The bartenders were nothing short of great, very spot on and quick to get your beverages to you. The security was amazing. They did a wonderful job at making us feel secure and safe the whole time. I can’t think of anything I did not enjoy.

Recently, we celebrated our triplet daughters' 21st birthday in style at MGM Detroit, thanks to the exceptional service we received. I had the pleasure of working with Shayla, who introduced me to Ryan, and together they made our celebration truly unforgettable. From the private area at Axis Lounge to reserving a small room at the Tap Restaurant, every detail was meticulously taken care of. Fred, the food and beverage manager, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The highlight of the evening was seeing my girls shine like true Vegas Queens, and everyone in our party left feeling like winners.

What an awesome place to be full of excitement and beautiful lights! The plus side is everything is easy access being on one floor. Jackpots are won every other minute, what a rush if you’re into such warm winnings soon as you walk in. You can’t win them all!! But your experience will be worth it!

DETROIT MARRIOTT AT THE RENAISSANCE CENTER REVIEWS

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location to enjoy downtown Detroit. Warmly welcomed by the car valet and the front desk Our room was on the 62nd floor overlooking the Detroit River Our bags were brought up by a very outgoing and friendly bellman. Honestly everything was as expected from a 5 star hotel Only complaint though minor was the room had a guide book of downtown Detroit and we felt it was excellent and would of loved to be able to purchase a copy but was told that none was available. Would be great to get a copy for future trips. We will be back. No question at all

It took a long time to get checked in, and I was wishing I had opted for the phone key option from the app so I could get to my room. But the front desk did me a solid and I got an upper floor with water view. The rooms are dated for flagship Marriott, especially the bathrooms with the basic shower/tub. Outlets, especially for USB are limited. Location is excellent, central to everything.

Great location and amazing views. However it is VERY confusing to get around. The people mover was really convenient but so hard to find. The room was clean, comfortable bed, and the view was perfect! Also across the street there’s a bus stop that takes you to Canada for $10! Would definitely stay again.

The hotel lobby was very clean, the people in it were all having a great time. The lobby was full of smiles, I noticed Theresa at the front desk work hard to make sure everyone got serviced accordingly in a very professional manner. The wait wasn't long. The rest of the staff at Pontchartrain were very helpful and friendly from valet to the restaurant. Infact! I've already booked my next stay at fort Pontchartrain. All in all- clean rooms. Great location. My wife and I Would recommend.

What a wonderful hotel! Beautiful view, clean and well appointed rooms. Delicious food and creative craft cocktails. The crown jewel of this beautiful hotel is the kind, friendly and thoughtful staff. Bobby and Jazz were AMAZING! Our new favorite destination hotel in Detroit! Thank you so much!

This was my first time in Detroit, and after a long trip getting here, I was exhausted, but Samantha J completely turned my night around. She welcomed me with such genuine warmth and positive energy that I instantly felt at ease, and she even made me laugh after a long day of travel. That kind of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. On top of that, the rooms are large, spotless, and offer amazing views, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Between the beautiful accommodations and Samantha’s uplifting presence, this was an amazing first impression of Detroit. I’m so grateful for the experience.
