The golf course has a beautiful playground and recreation center for its players. The golf club also affords locker room facilities for both men and women. Their pro shop is stocked with the latest equipment and clothing from the top manufacturers in the golf industry for both women and men. They also provide dozens of classes and activities, including art classes, flower arranging, exercise, crafts, yoga, and quilting.

"LSU Golf Course is an 18-hole university golf course designed by Al Michael and Phil Thompson, open since 1971. They provide the longest tees at 6,727 yards for a par of 72. LSU Golf Course greens and fairways are always ready for golfers to start their play. The course has drinking stations at holes 1, 3, 5, 8, 12, 15, and 18. Food and alcoholic beverage service is also available for the tournament through LSU-licensed caterers. The club offers many options according to golfers' playing skill levels. They stock a wide selection of quality golf balls, gloves, apparel, and clubs. The Pro Shop provides ample space for your tournament staging and players.

Always enjoy ourselves at Santa Maria Golf Course for Capital City Golf Tournament, the staff are always great it's worth the nine hour drive, Victoria Monarch Golf Association, Victoria,Texas

Well-kept course, great fairways and rough. Though the greens were punched, they made up for it by giving us the twilight rate. Solid people running this place.

My home course to play. Great layout and almost always in great shape. Just added some mats to the driving range when it is wet. Good practice area

WEBB MEMORIAL GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

Fairways are in good shape. Greens are ok. Mike Johnson is the new manager/pro there. He's a great guy, and if BREC gives him the resources, I expect it'll get even better. For the money, it's a great deal. I think some don't realize how fortunate we are to have a plethora of public courses to play at reasonable prices.

They had a young man that worked in the pro shop today that was so friendly and helpful to me. I brought my little son with me and he interacted with him so well it was so great to see. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Played other courses around this area. This was one of the best. Staff was helpful. I will go back.

LSU GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

Baton Rouge, a large city, mind you, is starving for driving ranges. There have been some great ones, but they just can't seem to stay open. Lucky for us LSU will always be around to sate our need to smash a bucket of balls for a reasonable price. The golf course is quite nice for the price as well. Give it a go!

LSU has a great course! In good shape, nice layout. I wish they had a few more signs showing where the next tee is, but other than that I highly recommend it!!

This course is in the best shape it’s ever been in! Couldn’t be better! Staff was super friendly, a real paradise on the Bayou. Geaux Tigers.
