The par 72 course has a slope of 71.9 and a rating of 118 from the black tees, and a slope of 66.9 and a rating of 108 from the white tees. Sunset Landing is ideal for seasoned golfers and beginners. The golf course is managed and operated by Birdie Boys II, Inc., a partnership that has well-known PGA professional Mike Parrish and seasoned restaurateur and service industry professional Andy Villarreal. Mike has more than 40 years of experience with golf in this area, which includes affiliations with Boaz Golf Club and the Golf Shop at Madison Golf Center.

"Links At Redstone offers two 18-hole courses, a Pro Shop, Driving Range, Putting and Chipping Greens, and Golf Tournaments. They offer private lessons from their PGA professionals on staff. The golf course offers two putting greens: one with Warrior's Mini-Verde grass and one with Patriot's Tif-Dwarf grass. Chipping is allowed on both greens. The golf course also offers a pitching green and a practice bunker. They have a full fitting area inside the pro shop that can fit a golfer for a new set of clubs. The Weeden Mountain Grill, located inside The Links at Redstone, is a short-order restaurant and snack bar that offers a variety of food choices.

2026 Update: Links At Redstone offers a challenging yet rewarding layout from the black tees, with a slope of 71.9 and a course rating of 118 for a true test of skill. From the white tees, they become more approachable, with a slope of 66.9 and a rating of 108, making it suitable for golfers across a wide range of abilities."

SUNSET LANDING GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

Having just ate recently this week at the clubhouse the food I had was phenomenal. Monday I had the shrimp salad and then Friday I was back to eat and ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and Bill the chef is great. I know I will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful golf course, very fair on prices, gorgeous sunset right by the airport. If you haven't came out to play a round, come on out, you won't regret it!

Easy, cheap, wide open golf course. Perfect for a novice like myself to hit a few golf balls around.

This place needs more reviews. 3 courses that include a Links course. Very nice pro shop, you have to reserve your tee time 4 days in advance. The fairways and greens have been nicely manicured and 1 course has been completely overhauled. Prices are some of the cheapest around, only to be beaten by Sunset Landing by the airport. Carts are in great condition parking is close to the carts so you can drop off your carts before going in the club house. Get the membership, it's not overly crowded and the courses clear up as the day goes by. There is also a golf pro who teaches classes and will help you out with any questions you may have.

Rented clubs and played on a beautiful Wednesday. The warrior course is fun. Not super long, but the fairways are narrow. If you miss the fairway, your ball is probably gone forever. Something in the rough gave me and my partner a rash instantly, so be careful of that. Also, there were millions of bugs flying around (and I mean millions).

The Warrior course is phenomenal. You must have the ability to access a military installation but if you do this is a must play course. Esthetically awesome and just the right amount of difficulty. Prices are super affordable and the course is comparable to some private clubs. Give it a shot.

Valley Hill Country Club truly impresses with its refined ambiance and attention to detail. The highlight of my visit was the Campfire Old Fashioned—a beautifully crafted drink with a toasted marshmallow garnish that added a unique touch. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Whether you’re here for a meal, a drink, or just the views, it’s a fantastic experience all around!

EVENT REVIEW: My first wedding venue in Huntsville was such an awesome experience. My clients had an outdoor ceremony on their beautiful greens that was followed by an indoor in their spacious dining room. The staff at this event venue worked very well with myself and other vendors; effective, friendly, and great teamwork!

Great place for a wedding reception venue. Had mine here plus referred 2 others here. Ron the manager is great and on top of it. The whole staff is wonderful and hard working. Beautiful place. As far a golf. Looks great from the roads. Driving range, pool all look top notch. I don't know how much a membership is here but would consider it if I lived closer.
